Norco 750

Is excessive sleeping a withdrawal from norco 750? If someone took them for two weeks, then took 8 in one day? ## Hello, Lucy! How are you? No, that is most likely due to an overdose. That is far too many to take in one day. Especially if they are the old ones that contained that much Acetaminophen, taking 8 of them could result in a toxic overdose and this person needs to seek medical attention. Any amounts of Acetaminophen over 3,000 mgs a day can be toxic and very dangerous, it could cause fatal liver failure. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. How is the person in question doing?

Norco 750 white with pink dots ## Prescription drugs that contain Acetaminphen are not allowed to have more than 325 mg of Acetaminphen now. ## @Michelle, Post #1 is correct. Acetaminophen is capped out at 325mg now-a-days. So the old Vicodin's with 750mg of Acetaminophen are no longer being made. However you can still get the 7.5mg dose of Hydrocodone. I wouldn't want such high amounts of Acetaminophen in my tablets anyways though since the risk of liver damage is always there. Makes me wonder why they still bother putting Acetaminophen in medications, seeing that it offers very little benefits vs risks. Did you also have any specific questions regarding these pills? I noticed that your thread title/description are pretty vague, but thought I'd offer a second opinion none-t...

I had been taking Lorcet 10/750 since '97. When the Norco came out, the doctor changed me to Percocet 10/325, but it really made me constipated, so I asked to be changed to Norco. It does not last long enough. I have severe migraines, RA, OA, Spinal Stenosis, Sciatica (both sides), herniated disc at L-7. The PA I see at my PPO, has told me Lorcet was discontinued totally, but now I find that Lorcet 10/325 is still available. I never had issues with the constipation while taking Lorcet, but do have it with the Norco. I am a caregiver to my 85 yr old Mom. I really would like to switch back to Lorcet. My kidney function is good, although the Norco does affect urination, sometimes hardly voiding any urine. What can I do in this case? Thanks for your time and have a Blessed Day... ## Bot...

Went from Vicodins 750's to Norco after knee replacement surgery. My Norco is the generic and my urine smells terrible. Anyone notice this side affect? ## It's a fairly common occurrence, due to the fact that you're adding a chemical to your body, plus the tablets can also contain some fillers and your body uses your urine and feces to process them out. Learn more Norco details here. However, you should keep an eye on it and if it gets really severe, or if you start to see signs of pus in your urine or experience pain or burning, then it may be a UTI and you should seek medical assistance. How long have you been taking the Norco? ## I have been on Norco and perk tramadol for a year now and since I cut myself back no I smell like pee why is that ## I've been on Norco for ...

just wondering witch one is truly stronger, the norco 750 or the 10mg methadone ## Hello, Mudd! How are you? There is no 750mg of Norco. The maximum dosage available of it contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325ms of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies these medications as being narcotic analgesics. They carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Are there any markings on the one you were taking so I can double check the dosage for you? Thanks! ## yes there is markings they are as fallows yellow in color, oval shaped marked one side with a "v" the other with the numbers 36 01 ## Thank you, Mudd! i heard that norco had less tylonal and asprin than in vicodan ## Norco - 5/325 - has: hydrocodone 5 mg. and acetaminophen 325 mg. Norco - has 10 mg hydrocodone, and 325 mg acetaminophen. Vicodin - 5 mg hydrocodone and 500 mg acetaminophen. Vicodin ES - 7.5 mg. hydrocodone and 750 mg acetaminophen. ## Neither Norco, nor Vicodin have Aspirin in them. They have acetaminophen (APAP). ## Correct; neither have aspirin. Vicodin is probably the worst hydrocodone-containing compound available. The absolute lowest amount of liver-destroying paracetamol (acetaminophen in the USA) in any 'Vicodin' product is 500mg. What is generally referred to as 'Norco' (Watson) is 10mg/325mg. However, in personal eperience of this rather weak narcotic analgesic which is also completely overprice...

I've taken pain meds for over 10 years, two years ago the doctor upped my script a bit from Vicodin 7.5/750 (d/day) to Norco 10/325 (3/day) but then last October I couldn't find the 10's anywhere (I prefer to get all my scripts from one pharmacy, a mom & pop shop I've been going to for almost 20 years). So kindly the doc switched me to Norco 7.5/350 (4/day) based on my pharmacy's suggestion. Now the pharmacy has been out for a week! I have no idea when my script will get filled and went to another pharmacy to ask an the said they aren't taking on new pain customers. I offered to transfer all my scripts there, only one is for pain but they still said no. Now what? Is there a shortage again in the Warren/Ferndale area of MI or is this happening across the count...

How much stronger is a morphine 60 than a Norco 10 and how many norcos would it take to equal 1 ## Hello, Smeagle! How are you? Morphine and Hydrocodone actually convert on a 1 to 1 ratio, so to equal 60mgs of Morphine, you'd need 60mgs of Hydrocodone. However, you can't take that many, due to the Acetaminophen in them. The limit for that is 3,000mgs daily, as set by the FDA. Exceeding that could result in fatal overdose toxicity. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have you been switched from one to the other, or are you trying to switch yourself? ## Omg really for one thing they only make7.5 norcos not 750 that would be the acetaminophen and meth...

My 16 year old had a bad infection which need to be lanced. He was prescribed a high mg dose of Norco. It's really hard to say much about this situation, without knowing the specific details of it. Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen is only available in a maximum of 10mgs Hydrocodone and 750mgs of the Acetaminophen and once a child is past 12, unless they are very tiny or have other significant medical issues, it is normal to start d...

I was perscribed vicodin 750 es and then norco was told they were same and also available under other names. Is this true, and what other names do they come in? ## Yes, both Vicodin and Norco contain Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone as the active ingredients. Another name it is sold under would be Lortab and it is also available as a generic, so that would be listed as just the active ingredients. There are also a few different dosage strengths available. Learn more Vicodin details here. What you were first prescribed, Vicodin ES means an extra strength formulation of Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone and the larger number, like the 750 you listed is the amount of Acetaminophen in them. I came across a yellow, oval pill with watson 353. What is this pill? ## its hydrocodone..750mg.. Similar to a vicodin or norco. ## Joe, not only is your post ridiculous, Hydrocodone does not even come in that high of a dosage. ## Watson 353 This is Pronolol 90mgs, a generic for the Beta-blocker Inderal. ## Yes it does come in that high of a dose. I've been prescribed it several times after surgery. Where are you getting your info? ## First of all hydrocodone does not come in 750 mg. You are thinking of 7.5 mg. There's 5 mg, 7.5 mg and 10 mg. Watson 353 on a yellow pill is hydrocodone/acetaminophen. Hydrocodone being 10 mg. Acetaminophen being 325 mg. Otherwise known as a Norco. These are amazing. How are you? First, I'd like to state that Vicodin, Lortab, Norco, Lorcet and Hydrocodone/APAP are all the same medication. They are just different names for a narcotic analgesic that contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen. And just for everyone's information, the ones with those higher amounts of Acetaminophen are no longer available on the U.S. market. Now, that said, the Codeine in Tylenol 3 is actually a very weak narcotic.
