My doctor switched me from lortab7.5 to norco325 and the norco makes me sick to my stomach, why? ## Did he switch you to the higher dosage? There is a Norco available that contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone with the 325mgs of Acetaminophen, if you're on the higher dosage of it, then that may explain the nausea. Learn more Norco details here.

My daughter took a lot of Norco 10/325. Will it kill or sedate her? ## Hello, Sasha! How is your daughter? How much is a lot? If someone takes more of something than has been prescribed for them, you should contact poison control or seek medical treatment immediately. The real worry with this medication is the Acetaminophen that's in it. It can be toxic in amounts exceeding 1,000mgs per dose and over 3,000mgs daily. It may cause liver damage, liver failure and could be fatal. This medication also carries the risk of being habit forming. ## I am totally in the dark here. My doctor just prescribed me the Norco and I thought the entire reason for taking Lortab off the market was because of the acetaminophen??? Confused???

how much does one norco 10 tablet weigh? ## How many grams is one pill ## How many grams in one white 10/325 norco ## It depends on the manufacturer, since the inactive ingredients can vary from one company to another. Can you please post back with the markings on the tablets in question? That would enable me to research more information for you. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Watson 853 im pretty sure they are supposed to weigh .05 grams but i haven't found anything confirming

what is an oblong orange pill, scored with a v on one side and a number on the other. My aunt takes it and she thinks it is a 10/3.25 Lortab pill. ## Hello, Sandilei! How are you? Can you check what the numbers are and post back? That's would enable me to identify it for you. Thanks! This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I was taking the oblong white ones then moved to different state an they r giving me white ones that r shaped different they r fat in the middle an if I don't eat something I get really sick an I didn't get sick on the other ones. I called the pharmacy where I was getting the oblong and they said the manufacturer was MAL.Do u no what that means? ## Hello, Patsy! How are you? There may be a different inactive ingredient in these ones that is causing the nausea, though it can be a normal side effect of this medication, as well. The FDA classifies this as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause other side effects, such as dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. The MAL means that the manufacturer of the ones you were getting before...

Is Norco 10-325 as strong as Vicoden 10-660 for pain? ## The only difference is the Norco has 325 mgs Tylenol and the Vicodin 660 mgs. They both have the same amount of hydrocodone, 10 mgs. ## @Shep, BL is correct about the amount of Tylenol (Acetaminophen) in each medication. Therefore, the Vicodin would be stronger than the Norco. If your pain isn't severe, I personally recommend taking the Norco due to the fact that it contains less Tylenol (Acetaminophen). The more Acetaminophen, the harder it will be on your liver and other organs. Please post back if you have any questions! ## sorry but you can no longer get 660 in the usa

ok so i have a question on the M367 pills. First, I have taken Vicodin about two times in the past. First time i broke my left ankle 3 years ago and got a prescription for the 5mg/(not sure on the acetaminophen) Vicodin at qty 20 pills. Then one year ago I had two wisdom teeth pulled and got a prescription for 5mg Vicodin like 15 pills. I say that to point out the fact that i dont think i have any built up tolerance.. I dont take any regular medicine, then or now. When i took the Vicodin, both times, the pain was gone in 20-30 minutes and i was full of energy ( one pill a day) .. SO to my question... now i have a herniated disc pushing on a nerve root and some stenosis clamping down on a different nerve root.. all verified through MRI.... I got to the pain management Doc and he gives me ...

I take Norco 10 / 325 and they aren't doing anything. I think I was even having withdrawals sneezing diarrhea and come to find out CVS carries Lupin. At first I thought I was building up a tolerance to the pain medication but it was like overnight. This can be traced back to when I got the medication from CVS from the manufacturer Lupin. I have about a 30 day supply left and can't get anymore but I definitely will not be going back there. I will be calling pharmacies to see who does not carry Lupin. ## Omg im so glad im not alone on the pupil brand. I literally hurt all over and they wear off in about 2 hours. I'm having a hard time finding my yellow ones and when i do call looking for them im treated like crap. I just want to cry. I have severe disk degeneration and need 5 ...

Why is it small and yellow, I was taking the lortab blue pill ## The color and size don't actually mean anything, the company may just manufacture their pills differently, so they use less fillers, than other manufacturers. What are the markings on the tablet in question? The name brand Norco that is a yellow tablet in the 10/325mg dosage is oval and has the marking NORCO 539 on one side of the tablet. There is also a generic, that is a yellow, oval with the marking WATSON 853. Another yellow, oval one with the marking 3601 on one side and a V on the other side. Do any of these match the tablet you have? If not, please post back with markings and I will gladly check it for you.

I am taking Oxy's 40 mg 2x per day, and the norco's (2), 3x per day. I feel like i am building up a tolerance. I have heard of people changing their meds to something else for a while, so they dont have to keep increasing the dosages. Is there anyone out there with experience with this. and can anyone tell me what else works good for chronic pain?

I got this as a refill. Does nothing for the pain from the surgery that i had. The one i had before which was manufactured by Watson i could take one of and be able to not be in pain. With this one i can take 2 as it states on the bottle and it does nothing and i am still in pain. Same script same instructions the only difference is manufacture and this one does nothing for my pain. Care to tell me why? ## Hello, Lori! How are you doing? Sorry that you're in pain. There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients from one manufacturer to another and you may be sensitive to such changes. The best thing to do, if you can, is to ask your doctor if they can prescribe it as the brand being medically necessary. Is there anything else I can help with?

I received my med from a new cheaper pharmacy and wanted to know if I got ripped off I was prescribed norco 10/325 and given a generic pill with watson 853 imprinted on it. Does anyone know if there is such a generic?? It is yellow and oblong HELP ## oblong blue green pill with imprint of SCF found in coat pocket ## you were given legitimate medication my norcos look exactly like that ## To be exact, Watson 853 is Hydrocodone 10mgs and Acetaminophen 325mgs, generic for Norco. ## I cannot find a listing for the one marked SCF. Sounds like something over the counter. ## yes it is 10mg.. i have some in my hand right now! ## I know it's used for pain, but it gives you that bared out feeling/ drunken feeling. It's a commonly abused drug. ## NORCO 10/325 IS Watson-made hydrocodone/apa...

Qualist manufacturer has a pill that states it to be a 5/325 the reads reads v 3604. To my knowledge I thought anything with the # 325 in it is usually a norco ## Hello, Reb! How are you? The V doesn't stand for what the tablet contains, that is just the manufacturers logo, so having a V on it does not make it Vicodin. The V stands for Vintage Pharmaceuticals, they were purchased by Qualitest several years ago and there are many pills with the V logo that don't contain narcotics of any type. Additionally, Norco is just a name brand for a certain combination of Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone….while it was originally ones that just contained 325mgs of Acetaminophen, with several doses of the Hydrocodone, since it is available as a generic now, they are pretty much all just us...

Why have they changed the yellow narco to white. The white don't work ,and it takes more than one to get any relief, I have a six inch rod and screws in my neck that's needs to be redone but willing to chance it. There are some people who really need what has been working. ## Are the markings on the tablets the same? If not, then the white one was most likely manufactured by a different company, and this isn't a color change. Norco contains Acetaminophen, and Hydrocodone, and is available as a generic, so it is manufactured by several different pharmaceutical companies. The FDA warns that Norco carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constiaption, and dry mouth. Ref: Norco Information

What Drug Store sell these in Northridge, Ca and what is the difference, if any ## I'm sorry, but there is no central listing to let anyone know what drug store carries a medication from any given manufacturer. Learn more Norco details here. Even attempting to create such a database would be a virtually impossible task, since such information is dynamic. Most pharmacies will stock whichever one their supplier was offering at the cheapest price. As to the difference, what are you wanting to compare them to? ## I live in Diamond Bar, and the only pharmacy I can get the yellow Norcos at is Walgreens. Those work the absolute best for me!!! Can't find them anywhere but there!! ## Google the number & letters on the pill. That will tell you what brand. The yellow ones your looking ...

I live in Modesto California I would like to know what pharmacies will dispense the yellow norcos 10 325 can someone help me please the white ones are not working as well as the yellow ones and I know it's just a big ol lie where they say they're not making the yellow ones no more I know they are can someone help please ## No, it is not a lie, the manufacturer stopped making them due to the problems that some people were having with the dye, such as allergic reactions, being sensitive to it, and etc. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. What are the markings on the white ones you are taking? ## Thanks for your help but I finally found a place that h...

I had shoulder surgery and have carpal tunnel in both hands. I'm always in severe pain. I'm a 45 year old female. Will Norco 7.5/325 help alleviate my pain? ## Yes, there is a chance that it might. It is an opiate narcotic. It worked well for my ex-husband, before his carpal tunnel surgery. The FDA does warn that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, nausea, drowsiness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Have you tried taking it, yet? ## I don't trust FDA, when the oxytocin, was the main one that younger folks got addicted to. And now us up in age suffer for it. You need 10/325, for surgery, furthermore percocet is used more in surgeries, 10/325, would be the only ones that would work for surgery, or morphine. No wonder...

I was forced into taking Caraco Norco. This cheap manufacturer should be banned. Mallinkrodt lasted all 6 hours. Caraco when there was some relief with 2 pills lasted only 3 hours. This is how patients O.D. How do we get this ineffective brand banned? Can we get a legal case going against pharmacies for pushing ineffective meds? We have to pay for these meds, we are patients suffering and should be able to trust our medication is good quality. This has to stop. ## The whole premise behind brand vs generic is when the patent runs out for brand a generic is made by the same or another company . The absolute rule from the beginning of generic's is that the are suppose to be exactly equivalent to the brand name. Something extremely dangerous is happening with what some of the cheap comp...

I have been taking norco over the years from Watson. A couple of years ago my prescription changed to Tris I have realized over the last several refills the effects of relief are not constant as with the watsons, even within the own bottle some are strong some are not Walgreens said they dont carry Watson any longer. If FDA is monitoring this drug and lab works could there be such a huge significant difference in quality??? ## Hello Edawg, It's sort of complicated but I'll do my best to answer your question. There are rules that a generic must follow in order to sell a drug, one of these rules is that they have to prove to the FDA that they are able to consistently manufacture the drug within a 20% error of the brand name. This means that they need to prove that a person who adm...
