I use to be on generic Lortab. 7.5 and my doctor switch the medicine to Norco 7.5 (V 36 05). I still don't get any relief. I looked it up and its the same med as the Lortab. Something seems shady, is he trying to trick me. ## First of all, your doctor has no control over which tablet your pharmacy has in stock and fills your prescription with. Your doctor can only designate certain things, such as you only get the brand name and/or that you only get tablets or capsules, but not from what company, so you doctor had no way of knowing you'd be getting the one with this marking, when you got your prescription filled. That is entirely up to your pharmacy and which one they have in stock. Just as an example, to ensure that I'm explaining this clearly, to make sure that I can split...

Are these authentic vicoden ## Hello, Rebecca! How are you? These tablets contain 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, they are actually a generic for Norco. Vicodin formulations contained higher amounts of acetaminophen and are no longer available. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Oval pinkish/ orange Viodin, number on it is 9096. is this Vicodin. I'm trying to find out what I'm taking !!!!

Learn more Norco details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi scorpio530, I've identified pill ID "V 36 05" as Acetaminophen (325 mg) + Hydrocodone (7.5 mg). What's the difference between Norco 10 325 mg & 7.5-325 mg ## Hello, Howard! How are you? Well, the dosage is different, just like you've listed. One contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone with the 325mgs of Acetaminophen, while the other contains only 7.5mgs of it. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I received some Norco the other day that I do not recognize. They are orange in color inside and out, snap easily in half and dissolve very quickly in water. They are about the same color as the old orange baby aspirin. They had the typical markings with a fancy V in one side and 3605 on the other. These are the same markings as the Vicodin I usually get and they were the exact same shape but the color and consistency were wrong. A friend used some and she noticed they dissolve very quickly and leave a grit in the glass. Has anyone else run across these or are they an actual new Vicodin? May thanks

found pill with v on one side and 3605 on the other what is it ## Hi Walt, From what I understand, the cursive "V" actually represents Vintage Pharmaceuticals who now holds the name Qualitest. However the pill you have there marked "V 36 05" is identified as a generic Norco tablet containing 325mg of Acetaminophen + 7.5mg of Hydrocodone; used for treating moderate to severe pain. And for verification, this particular pill also carries a National Drug Code of 00603-3891. I hope this helps! ## thanks for the info ## The pill is round and pink with a cursive V and markings of 49/93 on the other side what is it? ## Pink V 49 93 is oxycodone hcl 10 mg an I believe fairly new to the market! ## Also, the V 49 94 gray pill which is 20mg oxycodone I think is new to the market, is...

I have been taking the generic form of Orange Oblong shaped form of Norco which is hydrocodone 7.5 which was working fine until they changed it to a pill with the markings M366. These things are absolutely worthless. Does Mallinckrodt plan on going out of business soon or are they going to remove these from the pharmacies. I'm sending samples of mine to the FDA to see what's wrong with them. ## I've used Qualitest 3605 for years and I agree, the Mallinckrodt M366 are substantially inferior (bio-equivalence) for pain relief. My current Part D insurance uses Walmart Home Delivery. I've called them and complained. ## They do not work. I have been spending most of my time in bed since getting my prescription from Walgreens with mfg Mallinckrodt. I believe that they are place...
