What is the difference in the white oblonged pill with m367 and the yellow with a v an d 3601. ## The only difference between these two tablets is that they are manufactured by different companies. The one with the M marking is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and the one with the V is manufactured by Vintage/Qualitest. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. But both are the same dosage and contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Verwon, Your wrong. Them both in half the inside are the same yellow with the crystals .. Have anyone else seen a brighter yellow v/3601 norco I don't knw if this pharmacy giving fake pills?? But effect seem the same ## Hello, Mike! How are you? Actually, the PDR pictures do show this tablet in a couple different shades of yellow. There is no specific criteria that defines what the color should be and it can sometimes vary, depending on the manufacturing process at the specific place where they have been made. It is really nothing to worry about, as long as ... ...

hi i get the yellow norco pill with a cusive v and3601 on the back is their a better brand ## Vintage Pharmaceuticals Inc. manufactures the pill V 3601. Watson Pharmaceuticals also manufactures this drug. More specifically "Watson 358" is the same dosage as the pill you are describing. And as far as I know, the brand name Watson is among the most popular. But based on this information maybe you can ask your pharmacy/doctor for the Watson brand (Watson 358) and see if you feel a difference in effectiveness. Hope this helps! PHOTO OF NORCO10-325MG TAB ## Norco contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. That said, since there are also generics on the market, I cannot possibly post pictures of all of the available tablets with this dosage, there are many different companies that make it and each must have a unique imprint to enable its identification. Some imprints with this dosing include: A 328, a white, oblong tablet IP 110, white, oblong 176, white, oval M 367, white, oblong V 3601, yellow, oblong RX 497, white, round NORCO 539, yellow, oblong WATSON 853, yellow, oblong And this just includes the ones I could find. Fake Yellow Norco
11 Replies RSS
When it comes to yellow Norco (imprint: V 3601), you can NOT tell if it's fake unless you compare it to a real pill. They look REAL in every sense except that the edges of the pill are crumbly, they lack that shine in the coating, they break easily and the "V" is slightly different on the bottom. Buyers beware. ## How to tell a fake yellow NORCO! READ!! There are a lot of fake yellow Norcos out there. One fool proof way to know if they are fake is the following. The real yellow Norcos with imprint 36 01 on one side and a V on the other, will have a small skinny ring around the V. It's barely visible to the eye, but if you look close enough u will see it. If u touch the pill and your hands are sweaty u can rub it off. The skinny ring around the V starts on the top left co... ...

Why is it small and yellow, I was taking the lortab blue pill ## The color and size don't actually mean anything, the company may just manufacture their pills differently, so they use less fillers, than other manufacturers. What are the markings on the tablet in question? The name brand Norco that is a yellow tablet in the 10/325mg dosage is oval and has the marking NORCO 539 on one side of the tablet. There is also a generic, that is a yellow, oval with the marking WATSON 853. Another yellow, oval one with the marking 3601 on one side and a V on the other side. Do any of these match the tablet you have? If not, please post back with markings and I will gladly check it for you. ...

V 3609 norco are great
1 Reply RSS
These are identical to the yellow v 3601 we have all came to prefer. I was worried they would be like the new white watson's but am totally relieved they haven't messed with the fillers or generic variance allowed on hydrocodone like Watson has supposedly done. Walmart carries this new white V 3601 and qualitest is still the only brand to rely on when it comes to a pain pill that actually works as it should. Anyone who says this new 3609 norco is like Watson's worthless whites are crazy. I have probably taken over 30,000 norco pain pills the past 15 yrs for a messed up back and have never abused them or exceeded the daily limit of acetaminophen. I don't drink or smoke and am in decent shape. Liver enzymes are great...I hate morphine and oxycodone so thank God qualitest s... ...

Fake V 3601 Yellows
2 Replies RSS
I recently got some v3601 yellows. The outside is a lighter shade of yellow, with patches of white showing. When broken in half I could make out obvious specks of white inside the pill. Not shiny crystals like usual, but actual white specks. Is this normal? I have some pictures but cant post it from my phone. Otherwise the pills are the same size and have the same inscriptions on the pills. ## Those are fake. You should see the white crystals always. ## I think with any pill not received from a licensed pharmacy, there's always the risk of having counterfeits that can resemble it so closely, that the only way to truly verify its legitimacy would be to have it analyzed by a lab or drug panel. Generic norco/vicodin such as this is pretty commonly prescribed though, and I doubt pain ma... ...

Why is the Norco a bright bright yellow and much thicker in size! It's a V 3601? The others I have received are smaller and light yellow? Is it safe? Can I take it to be tested? ## The yellow pill which you are describing is Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone bitartrate (325 mg - 10 mg). That said, is in fact safe for you to take if you were in fact prescribed this pill by your doctor. A couple possible reasons I think of as to why it may be larger are due to increase in dosage, a change in manufacturer, or if the manufacturer changed the way they wanted the pill to look. Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone is a combination of two types of pain medicine to treat moderate to severe pain. You can view more information about this drug in the link below...
