I've been taking Norco 10/3.25 for years for severe chronic pain--It's now no longer effective at all--I'm wondering about changing to Percocet 10/3.25 and whether this would be a stronger, more effective and longer lasting med to take--I've tried also Oxy.10 mg. hcl and they work so so and notice I need to take way more often than I ever did with Norco. I have been on 16 mg of suboxone for almost a month. Last night I took 3 norco 10 mgs at the same time. It has been 15 hours can I take my suboxone? ## From what I've seen on other threads, it seems like most people recommend waiting until the norco is completely out of your system before taking suboxone (which may be an estimated 24-48 hours based on how much you took). So yeah, I get the sense that you're on the right track, but if it were me I'd probably try to wait it out for another day or so (may be easier said than done). After 10 years of taking Hydrocodone for Chronic lower back pain, doses increasing over the years, my new PM Doctor has started me on Morphine Sulfate 15 mg ER at bed time. Also take 5 each Norco 10-325 during the day. I was taking 6 each Norco 10-325 a day, but needed/wanted 8 or 10 a day. Wishing I had a pickup truck load of Norco 10-325. Loved the stuff, but 6 a day was not easing the pain any longer. I would run out every month a week early. Normally I would take a Xanax 1 mg, sometime 2, at night and knock right to sleep. I have used hydrocodone for more than 15 yrs, due to lupus and fibromyalgia. I want to get off it and was wondering: if I go into detox, will they then put me on drug replacement therapy? I take 30-40 mg of hydro./day (3-4 Norco) but I don't go buy pills or dr. shop - that is my RX ## I would recomend cymbalta it works for depression anxiety and fibromyalgia. So it works for the pain strangley enough and puts you in a good mood not like other antidepresants.
