I was taking the oblong white ones then moved to different state an they r giving me white ones that r shaped different they r fat in the middle an if I don't eat something I get really sick an I didn't get sick on the other ones. Is Norco 10-325 as strong as Vicoden 10-660 for pain? ## The only difference is the Norco has 325 mgs Tylenol and the Vicodin 660 mgs.They both have the same amount of hydrocodone, 10 mgs. ## @Shep, BL is correct about the amount of Tylenol (Acetaminophen) in each medication. Therefore, the Vicodin would be stronger than the Norco. If your pain isn't severe, I personally recommend taking the Norco due to the fact that it contains less Tylenol (Acetaminophen). Has your doctor recommended this switch? The actual conversion, if you have been taking 20mgs of the Hydrocodone in the Norco, would be approximately 13.33 of the Oxycodone to equal the same dose. However, what you really need to do is try the Oxycodone and see how well it helps you, since it is more potent, you may get good results from the 10mgs, if you haven't taken it before.

I have been taking norco over the years from Watson. A couple of years ago my prescription changed to Tris I have realized over the last several refills the effects of relief are not constant as with the watsons, even within the own bottle some are strong some are not Walgreens said they dont carry Watson any longer. ok so i have a question on the M367 pills. First, I have taken Vicodin about two times in the past. First time i broke my left ankle 3 years ago and got a prescription for the 5mg/(not sure on the acetaminophen) Vicodin at qty 20 pills. Then one year ago I had two wisdom teeth pulled and got a prescription for 5mg Vicodin like 15 pills. I say that to point out the fact that i dont think i have any built up tolerance.. Hi: I have been taking 36 01 v generic norco by Qualitest for a couple years now, due to a long list of pain issues. Since the Fed Law has been changed and I can no longer get refills on my prescription, I was also informed by my pharmacy they no longer carry the yellow 36 01 v and wanted to give me ip110. I finally found a pharmacy that had 70 of the yellow and gave me 20 of the white ip110. I find the white ip110 does not work well at all. I felt them a little faster but they are not as string and wear off very quickly, unless I double up on it. Why have all pharmacies stopped carrying the yellow 36 01 v? Why is it small and yellow, I was taking the lortab blue pill ## The color and size don't actually mean anything, the company may just manufacture their pills differently, so they use less fillers, than other manufacturers. What are the markings on the tablet in question? The name brand Norco that is a yellow tablet in the 10/325mg dosage is oval and has the marking NORCO 539 on one side of the tablet. There is also a generic, that is a yellow, oval with the marking WATSON 853. Another yellow, oval one with the marking 3601 on one side and a V on the other side. Do any of these match the tablet you have? If not, please post back with markings and I will gladly check it for you.

I am taking Oxy's 40 mg 2x per day, and the norco's (2), 3x per day. I feel like i am building up a tolerance. I have heard of people changing their meds to something else for a while, so they dont have to keep increasing the dosages. Is there anyone out there with experience with this. and can anyone tell me what else works good for chronic pain?

I've been taking Norco 10/3.25 for years for severe chronic pain--It's now no longer effective at all--I'm wondering about changing to Percocet 10/3.25 and whether this would be a stronger, more effective and longer lasting med to take--I've tried also Oxy.10 mg. hcl and they work so so and notice I need to take way more often than I ever did with Norco. The tablets with the WATSON 540 marking contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a narcotic pain reliever. There is a generic hydrocodone with 650mg acetaminophen, usually green. I familiar with 5mg, 7.5, 10mg hydrocodone and the amount of acetaminophen gives the medication it's name in this case.
