I'm recovering from my third back surgery. I can take hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10-325 mg tab with no stomach problems. However, when I take hydrocodone/acetaminophen 7.5-325mg tab Mallinc generic, I have severe stomach pains. The pharmacist says there is no difference except the 10 vs the 7.5. It is NOT in my mind, it's in my stomach & it really hurts. Can you clear this up for me? I will be very grateful for your attention. Thank you. ## Who manufactures the 10/325 tablet that you've taken? There can be differences in the inactive ingredients from one manufacturer to another and that can cause problems for some people that are sensitive. Am on 10-325 mg I go to pain management I can't find my bottle of meds am in pain. 8 days before appt will they see I haven't had my meds ## Hi Vicky, Sorry to hear about your situation. Personally, I think you should be upfront with your doctor about what happened, having misplaced the bottle. The main reason I say this is because I think they do have the ability to tell what levels of medication should be in your system vs how much isn't there. Given the circumstances and type of narcotic, it's easy for them draw false conclusions that you're selling them, but I feel that sincere honesty goes a long way when you are earnest and straight forward with your words. I have my fingers crossed for you and pray that everything works out to your benefit! Be well! ## They ca...

Saw a new ortho surgeon. Was taking Hydrocodone/Acetamenaphine 10-325. For lower back pain. He said "oh no, Don't take that!" and presribed Tramadol 50 mg. Why? ## Because it can be highly addictive. Also it is going to go from a Schedule III to a Schedule II, Oct 6, 2014. That means no refills, it can't be called in and you must see your dr at least every 90 days. Even though Tramadol can also be addicting, the risk isn't as great. Tramadol became a Schedule IV Aug 18, 2014. ## Hello, Pete! How are you? Your doctor may also be concerned about the Acetaminophen, taking it for a long time creates the risk of liver damage or failure. These medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation...

i have a prescription from my pain management doctor for norco 10-325 but it has been on back order each time ive tried to have it filled at not only my pharmacy Rite Aide but other major pharmacy's have also been unable to fill my prescription is their any reason for this or is there any suggestion's ## Two things are possible. One, when it was reclassified as a Schedule II the bottles the pharmacy's had were sent back to the manufacturer. It is possible they are running short or don't have any. Second, this time of year it is not unusual for Schedule II meds to become very hard to find or not be able to find them at all. The reason is because the manufacturers are only given a certain amount of active ingredients for 1 year. When that runs out, they have to wait until ...

I have been taking norco 10/325 yellow oval pill for a few years but yesterday what I got was different they were white oblong pills which says hyd/apap 10/325 mg tab amnea on it and the numbers on the tablet are G 037. Are they the same? The norco always worked very well but these white tabs don't seem as strong or work as well. ## Yes, they are the same, the tablet with the G 037 on it has just been manufactured by a different company, in this case Tris Pharma. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. How many have you taken, so far?

Can you tell me what the pill looks like? ## Hi Kim, From what I could gather, most of the 5/325mg Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone Bitartrate tablets are white and capsule (oblong) shaped. Some of the imprints on these pills are: IP 109, M365, 3202 WATSON, and 3604 V. There may be more though. Did you have any specific questions or concerns regarding this medication? Please post back if you do. ## Are the V3604. The same as M365? ## my daughter has von wilebrand disease, can she take this for pain? tylenol does nothing for her ## Do Watson make hydrocodone acetaminophen (norco) 5-325 only or do they have another company that make the pill to

I am trying to find out how many Tylenol codein 300-30 I would need to take to be equilivant to Norco 10-325 ? I have had a different prescription and I want to make sure I am not over doing the codein ## Hello, Ruth! How are you? Each 30mgs of Codeine is equivalent to 4.5mgs of the Hydrocodone, so taking one Norco 10/325 is actually over twice as strong. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

How are you? It depends on which muscle relaxant it is and whether or not your doctor approves. There may be some risks associated with some of them, when mixed. The FDA classifies Hydrocodone/APAP as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Are there any pain meds made with a 500mg of acetaminophen & 10mg of hydrocodone or oxycodone ect ## Hello, Nicole! How are you? Lortab, Lorcet, Norco and Vicodin were all brand names for medication combinations that contained Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. There are none that contain more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose, now. The ones with the higher amounts were all removed from the market. That includes the Oxycodone combinations, as well as all other combination prescription drugs that contain Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is Norco 10-325 as strong as Vicoden 10-660 for pain? ## The only difference is the Norco has 325 mgs Tylenol and the Vicodin 660 mgs. They both have the same amount of hydrocodone, 10 mgs. ## @Shep, BL is correct about the amount of Tylenol (Acetaminophen) in each medication. Therefore, the Vicodin would be stronger than the Norco. If your pain isn't severe, I personally recommend taking the Norco due to the fact that it contains less Tylenol (Acetaminophen). The more Acetaminophen, the harder it will be on your liver and other organs. Please post back if you have any questions! ## sorry but you can no longer get 660 in the usa

What's the difference between Norco 10 325 mg & 7.5-325 mg ## Hello, Howard! How are you? Well, the dosage is different, just like you've listed. One contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone with the 325mgs of Acetaminophen, while the other contains only 7.5mgs of it. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If one IP 110 10mg/325mg doesn't work, will 2 work? ## This contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Vicodin, this is a narcotic pain reliever. The Hydrocodone could cause central nervous system depression, since it is a narcotic, so it is not advisable to double up, without your doctor instructing you to do so. In addition, too much Acetaminophen in a day can be toxic, so you have to be careful of it, as well. How much hydrocodone is in a does of 5 ml hydrocodone bitarate cough syrup? Is it the same as taking a 7.5 norco tablet? ## Hello, Granny! How are you? It can vary, depending on the prescription. What dosage is listed on the label? Usually, it will have something such as 7.5/5ml or something similar that lets you know how much is in each teaspoon. Can you please post back with this information, so I can help you? Thanks! The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Oh my, I didn't realize it was that strong! i take norco 10/325 and wonder is there a stronger hydrocodone pill such as 15/325 ## No, the maximum amount currently available on the market is 10mgs of Hydrocodone. The only way to get a higher dosage than that is if your doctor specially orders it and it is put together for you by a compounding pharmacy. Hydrocodone is a potent narcotic and is rarely given in higher doses. Usually, when someone isn't getting the pain relief they need from it, they move on to something else, such as Percocet, which contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. It is still a narcotic and can cause side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments? ## Try not to go up to percet. I have been prescribed Norco 7.5-10 mg prn for 4 yrs. I sometimes take none for 2 weeks but then have a lot of pain and take about 4-6 per week as needed. I had to have a hair follicle test. It says cut off is 200 pg/mg and my quantitative result was 2309 pg/mg. What does that mean? ## Hi ntrubl, In regards to your hair follicle test results, I get the sense that the cut off level of 200 pg/mg is simply referring to the "lowest detectable amount" which can be picked up by the test. Since your results were 2309 pg/mg, this isn't necessarily saying that you had a LOT in your system, but it does imply that you had much more than the minimum amount that could be detected. Does this make sense? I would also encourage you to contact the lab who performed the evaluation if you'...

I have been on Norco 10/325 for 7 years for chronic pain and disc problems. Needless to say they quit working. Dr just switched me to Percocet 10. Is this stronger and will it help my pain? ## Hi Bridget, Sorry to hear about your situation. To answer your question though, YES, the 10mgs of Oxycodone contained in Perocet 10/325 is reported to be more potent than 10mgs of Hydrocodone in Norco 10/325. As to how much stronger it is, answers do vary... but from what I've researched, it's analgesic effects appear to be about 1.5-3x stronger. Does anyone else find this to be true as well? ## Thank you very much for answering my question. I hope it helps my pain. How many mgs is M363 hydrocodone. I have some from long time of ago and I dont remember what the mgs are. ## At this time, the tablet with the M 363 marking contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Vicodin, Norco or Lortab. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it does have the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Learn more Vicodin details here. And to add an additional note for anyone that may be viewing this post at a later date… The FDA has requested that the amount of Acetaminophen in all of the prescription combination medications that combine it with a narcotic be lowered to a maximum of 325mgs. are the abg 10's equal in strength to the norco 10 mg i need to know right away if not what is the difference in opiate strength i am used to taking 2 norcos per dose 10 per day??? ## The tablet with the ABG 10 marking contains 10mgs of Oxycodone, a potent narcotic analgesic. Has your doctor recommended this switch? The actual conversion, if you have been taking 20mgs of the Hydrocodone in the Norco, would be approximately 13.33 of the Oxycodone to equal the same dose. However, what you really need to do is try the Oxycodone and see how well it helps you, since it is more potent, you may get good results from the 10mgs, if you haven't taken it before.
