Someone need to look into it i have been taking them for about 5yrs they are not strong at all like the old opana thank ## They changed the formulation, to help prevent abuse, similar to what was done with Oxycontin and, just like then, it seems that the new formulation just doesn't work as well for some people, though in theory, it is supposed to. Have you discussed the problem with your doctor?

Which is stronger hydroxyzine 50mg, 25mg or 10mg ## Hello, Josephine! How are you? I know prescription medications can be confusing, but the higher the number the higher the dose. Thankfully, they have not defied basic math. :-) Thus, the 50mg is the strongest one. This is an antihistamine that is used to treat allergic reaction, nausea and for its sedative like effects. Side effects may include dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

I've taken prescribed amount of 5/325-Norco or hydrocodone today for lower back bulging disc, DDD, nerve damage. Pain is not controlled this pm. How soon can I safely take oxycodone tonight? Can I safely take a norco and an oxycodone at different times on the same day. (If the norco at first does not help my pain.) Norco first gave some relief when first saw pain management Dr. and primary care Dr. As more time goes by my original RX is not helping ongoing pain. Thank you ## Hello, Robyn! How are you? That can be done, if your doctor approves, they are often prescribed together to manage severe pain, or when being switched from one to the other, the next dose is usually just switched out with the new one. However, self-medicating could be dangerous and may result in overdose, if som...

I have these pain medicine and when I opened my bottle the have the strongest smell to them. They are 10/300 hp vicoden has this ever happened to anyone? ## Hello, Denise! How are you? Most medications tend to have an odor, some manufacturers just coat their pills to prevent you smelling it. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What are the markings on them? That will enable me to double check the details on them for you.

i have back problems an i was givin some by a freind ## Because pain medications tend to effect each person differently (due to various levels of pain tolerance and severity), you can't really tell someone "how" strong something like this is. What works for them may not have any effect on you, or vise versa. The Tylenol ER isn't necessarily stronger than other forms of Tylenol (in regards to potency). All it does is simply last longer, since it's an extended-release version of the drug. OTC meds like this also aren't really intended for severe pain issues, but it may help alleviate minor muscle aches & body pain, such as arthritis. I hope this helps!

I have a fever and I took halv of a hyd 40 about an hour ago can I take Tylenol with it? ## Hello, Lynn! How are you? You should not be cutting Hyslinga, it is a time released medication and doing so may result in your getting too much of the medication, at once. However, generally you can take Tylenol with it, as long as your doctor approves. But you may experience more side effects than usual, as reported by the FDA, so you may feel more nausea, dizziness and drowsiness than at other times. Is there anything else I can help with?

my 11 year old son has strep and the MD gave keflex 500mg twice a day he doesnt take antibiotics that often wouldnt 250mg be suficiant ## Is his case of strep severe? I wouldn't want to stray from the doctor's orders. How long is he supposed to be taking the meds for? Is he having any side effects? Just wondering... ## He should take the dose the doctor has prescribed, since that amount is usually what's necessary to fully eradicate the infection. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Keflex as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and non-allergic skin rash. Ref: Keflex Information Has he been experiencing any of the side effects?

R 031 or GG...?? Which one is stronger or weaker...?? ## Hello, LDN! How are you? The tablet with the R 031 marking contains 1mg of Alprazolam. As to the GG tablet, that depends which one you're asking about, since there are several with that logo in different doses. What is the marking on the tablet in question? This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. ## R 031 or GG 258 which is stronger or weaker or is it the same ## The same

I will be having wisdom teeth pulled. I would like to know what options are availiable for non narcotic pain relief. Preferably the strongest. I will be able to get a prescription, but I would like to avoid opiates or opioids. ## Wow, that's kind of difficult, because knocking out the opiates leaves only options for minimal pain relief. In many cases, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory would be prescribed, such as just a strong dose of Ibuprofen, but that can depend on how complicated the extractions are and how much you're bleeding afterwards. Learn more Ibuprofen details here. Are they being done in office, or as surgical extractions?

please send me details to this question ## No the 10/325 are stronger than the 5/325. ## I was wondering if this was even a serious question or not, since 10 is obviously a higher number than 5... My doctor gave me norco 10/81 is it as stonge or stronger than norco 10/325? ## Based on my research there is no such thing as "norco 10/81". However it if really does exist, then it would essentially be weaker than 10/325 (hence 325 is larger number than 81). Norco (acetaminophen 325mg + hydrocodone 10mg) Norco (acetaminophen 81mg + hydrocodone 10mg) Learn More: Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone Details If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to help you. ## I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you're talking about. Perhaps something written on the prescription?

I've been on Vicodin, Norco, and now Tylenol 3 for pain. I'm getting ready to have knee surgery and than back surgery. I'VE BEEN TAKING THESE PAIN PILLS SINCE MARCH 2014. How do I tell my dr. that the Tylenol 3 is not strong enough and I'm taking more than 2 a day. I ALSO HAVE HEP C+, WHAT SHOULD I be taking/ ## Hello, Cindy! How are you? The Codeine in these Tylenol formulations is actually a very weak opiate, you'd need 33.33mgs of it to equal each 5mgs of Hydrocodone in the Norco. The FDA lists these medications as being narcotic analgesics, so they have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. is the pill 224 as strong as the real oxycone not a generic ## Hello, Kc! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Caraco Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 30mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. It really depends on you and how well they work for you. Some people have no problem with generics, but some do. Have you tried taking one, yet?

SWIM usually takes 4 10mg /325 oxycodone at once. This amount usually suffices but SWIM got these A333 white pills that are supposed to be 10oxy/325apap and took 4 with very little effect as other generics of same strength. I'm a little confused and a little pissed. Lol

I have been diagnosed with having a mycobacterium infection. I am currently working asking one tablet in the morning and one in the afternoon to the Bactrim DS 800/160mg. Is there anything stronger? I have just taken the pm dose of day four. Should I be seeing signs this medication working by now? How are you? I am sorry about the problem that you're having. Have you consulted your doctor about it? Jumping down 30mgs might just be too big of a drop for your body to handle and you may need to go a little slower. However, Methadone is notoriously hard to get off of, so it is likely that may always experience some withdrawal effects.
