I'm 18 years old n my periods are mostly late but this time it's been 4 months since I haven't got my periods I'm really worried could you plz prescribe me any pills ## My daughter 15 years old is taking Dicorate 1g from last 15 months. Her periods always back by 7/10 days. But this time it is about 20 days passed. Kindly suggest, does she needs any medicines ? Or is there be any problem for her ? ## @Rishabh, Sorry to hear about your daughter's experience with Dicorate (Divalproex). From what I've read, this medication can have a strange effect on the regularity or presence of one's menstrual cycle, and it does actually list this as a side effect on the drug's prescribing packet. Unfortunately, there's really no way to know for sure when/if her cycle...

I took my loestrin 8 hours late (should have taken at 10pm but took at 6 an) and then I took my next pill as well at the same time. Because of this I have gone from taking my pill at night to taking it in the morning during the same pill packet. I had intercourse 3 days later. Am I considered to be safe? (Late pill happened on day 4) ## Hi, Ann! The problems arise from missing pills, which would mean taking it 24hours or more late. As long as you still took it in that time frame, you should still be protected against pregnancy, but should check with your doctor to be certain. And taking two at once could cause a surge in hormones that may throw off your cycle, so you may get some breakthrough bleeding, or your period may be irregular this month. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi. I started taking primolut nor 3 days before my expected date to delay my period. But I have started spotting. Will the spotting stop if I continue taking one tablet daily? Or now is it too late to stop the period? ## Hello, Suki! How are you? Yes, 3 days before your period likely wasn't long enough to delay it. Have you consulted your doctor? If you would like to have better control over when your period occurs in the future, you should talk to your doctor about taking an oral contraceptive. ## Hi, I had DUB and took primolut to stop. When the bleeding stopped after two days whenever i urinate i am passing blot clots which is similar to premenstrual symptom. It's almost 8 days now. should i be worried? or it's because of the tablet? ## Hi. I have a polycystic ovary and i...

I have been on Loestrin 24 Fe for quite a long time now. 2 weeks ago, I took the normal pill on Thursday night at 10pm, which is my regular time. But I forgot to take the Friday pill until 14 hours later, at noon on Saturday. Then, instead of taking the normal Saturday pill at 10pm, I took that one at 7am on Sunday morning. After that, I took all the rest of the pills at 10pm as usual, starting with Sunday night. Is it a problem if I took the first pill 14 hours late and the 2nd pill 9 hours late? I abstained after that for 6 days, and then had intercourse. But because I wasn't sure, I took Plan B just in case. Now, I have been taking the pills as normal after that, but was wondering if I can rely on the birth control pills for the rest of the cycle. Would appreciate your thoughts -...

Can I take tramacet and neurontin for nerve pain? ## I am taking Neurontin for nerve pain in my face. I was also given Tramacet for headaches triggered by pain in the jaw joint. The Neurontin works on the face pain but not the jaw and headaches. I have found if I take tramcet late in the evening it won't let me sleep. The neurontin helps me sleep otherwise. If I take them both in the day time there is no problem but I just take the tramacet once in a day and maybe once or twice a week. I have fibromyalgia so have had trouble sleeping for 17 years - the neurontin is like a miracle drug because I can finally sleep!! And it is the only thing I take now.

white pill with imprint sn 10 ## I cannot locate this anywhere. Please check the imprint again to make certain it is correct. It is possible that this is an older medication that is no longer produced, or an over the counter medication. Also, it could be made in another country. ## I agree with you, I tried to find this yesterday, nothing in my various PDRs, and I have some older ones both scrip and otc drugs, plus the many coputer databases I use, nothing at all on this one. ## Zolpidem Winthrop, SN - 10 ## I have 2 white white oblong tablets whitch have been put in with other temze tablets. SN10 is all that is on them? I took one last night, thinking they were temaze, and 15 hours later, i'm still feeling the affects. Where can I find out more?

is the medicine amlodipine besylate medicine time released. ## Hi Barbara, Usually if a medication is time-released it will have one of the following abbreviations at the end of the drug name: XL, ER, SR, or perhaps some other similar notation. From my experience, if a label doesn't actually specify that it's time released in such a way, then it would probably be safe to assume that it's not. However, if you happen to know what the imprint/markings are on your tablet, I'd be happy to verify this for you. I hope this helps! ## The markings on his pill are IG on one side and 239 on the other. Thanks for the help ## What does BES after the printed name? ## @Barbara, My apologies for the late reply, as I just received notification of recent activity on this thread. I'm s...

Most antibiotics do not harm the fetus, your doctor will tell you which ones you should not take. However, this site is not medical professionals to really advise you on this. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea. Read more: ## I was just prescribed this drug and read the insert carefully. I says you should not be taking it if you are pregnant. I would highly suggest talking this over with your doctor. I started sprintec 3 months ago. The first month my cycle was 7 days late... the second month it was 10 days late. Is this normal?? I'm waiting on the 3rd cycle now..... ## Yes, when starting oral contraceptive tablets, it can take about 3 months, for your body to adjust to the medication and such irregularities are normal. However, if it continues past that point, this may not be the right birth control for you to use and you should consult your doctor. Are there any other questions or comments? ## I have recently started birth control Friday which also was the first day of my period. I have ovarian cysts and a hernia by my belly button. I am wondering if it was okay to start the bc on the same day of my cycle or will it mess it up? my cycles are irregular already. please let me kn...

Is there anyway of making it regular?? do hormonal pills hamper the cycle? ## Hello, Bhanu! How are you? What do you mean by delayed? Do you mean you're only having a period every 2 months? Have you consulted a doctor? Before a remedy can be found, you need to discover what's causing the issue. ## Actually im being diagnosed as hypothyroidism since 12 yrs... Im on thyronorm 100mcg... I have been on Lo Loestrin for one year and a half and never have missed a pill. I had headache and fell asleep so completely forgot to take blue pill #6 and remembered 10 hrs later, which I took...we don't use condoms, so should I be worried? ## Hi, Esther! How are you? 10 hours late isn't really considered missing a pill, you've generally got a window of 12 to 24 hours to take it. They just really try to stress taking it 'on time' to try to keep women in the habit of taking them all the time, so they don't miss any. Once something becomes routine, it's kind of automatic, which lessens the risk of pregnancy occurring due to actually missing tablets. You should double check with your doctor to be sure, but usually, there's nothing to worry about, as long ...

what relationship is this medication to the valumn family? ## Same family - benzodiazepines. Available in 10, 15, 30 & 50mg tablets, its onset of action is very slow, so no good for acute panic attack. Best for those would be diazepam and alprazolam, bromazepam, lorazepam and nordazepam, which are all very fast-acting, I find 2/3mg alprazolam fastest. However, if you're not using bromazepam, then my advice is to do what I do, which is take 3mg alprazolam to deal with the immediate symptoms, and at the same time or 10 mins later, take TWO Seresta Forte or other 50mg strength oxazepam. It gives you several hours of calm, not brutally sedating like diazepam, more like the smooth feeling of a couple of 12mg Lexotanil or Lexilium tablets, to help, when it begins to be felt about 45 m...

I started taking the above product 2 x day - light purple marked MG1 I have neuropathy with very hot feet , I am not diabetic have had it for about 10 yrs always getting worse am taking Lyrica 50 mg 3 x day ## Sorry to hear about your situation Pat. I really hope things end up turning around for the better sooner than later. Has the Lyrica even been helping at all? I know a few people who have taken this medication for nerve and only got temporary relief from it at best. If this is the case for you as well, I'd probably suggest eating more fruits and vegetables alongside acupuncture or any herbal remedies (such as essential oils). This should at least help alleviate some of the nerve pain and can be done throughout your life without the side effects of those meds. If anyone else has...

I have been a chronic back pain patient for years. Degenerative disc disease, scoliosis, spurs, recurring herniated discs, sciatica. I have been getting my script filled at the Roseville, Michigan pharmacy since before the law change last October. Now sometimes I can get it filled in about a week, but usually not. After running out again last week and calling and visiting the pharmacy every day, I called today to be told to try next week ( the line I usually hear) I went there about an hour later and it was in! Found out it came in way before I called. Just as I suspected, they were LYING AGAIN. Do other people in S.E. Michigan feel they are also being lied to by their pharmacy? We chronic pain patients are taking a beating! WHY? ## Question for you the pharmacy you are using is it a na...

I recently was switched from Lortab to Nucynta 75 for migraines to trial it out. I took a Nucynta at 9am and am wondering if I can take Lortab 10mg at 5pm? ## Did your doctor tell you take it, as well? If not, and you were actually switched, you should not do so. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

I Take norco 10 usually 12 a day. I don't have any so I took a 30 mg morphine pill will it hurts if I took another 30 mg morphine 3 to 4 hours later ## Hello, Chris! How are you? Wow, that's a lot of Norco to take each day and well over the FDA limits for daily intake of Acetaminophen. They limit it to just 3,000mgs, due to the dangers of overdose toxicity, which can be fatal and possibly liver damage or failure. Is your doctor aware that you're taking that much? As to the Morphine, it is equivalent 1 for 1 to the Hydrocodone in the Norco, so each 30mg tablet is the same as taking 3 of the Norco and you shouldn't take more or take them more often, than your doctor has prescribed. Taking them too frequently could result in overdose. The FDA classifies this medication as a...
