can a 72 year old woman with diabetes take 3 capsules @500 mg Tylenol at one time if total of 8 capsules a day are not exceeded ## Yes, the worst it might do is upset your stomach or make you a little drowsy. Many people have prescriptions for Ibuprofen which range in dosages from 600mgs each tablet and up. I am currently only 800mgs Prescription Ibu and usually take two tablets at once, so total of 1600mgs. ## Betty: Why would you want to do this. First, speak with your health care providers. Then, follow proper dosing directions. Diabetics must be very careful regarding all substance intake due to hiddent sugars, carbs, etc. Remember, tylenol contains acetaminphen which can cause liver damage in excess. The mgs in Tylenol and the mgs of ibuprophen are different! ## Betty: Remember...t...

when normaxin should be taken before or after meal ## Generally, the prescription label on the bottle states whether or not it should be taken with food. In this case however, I was able to search and see if there were any interactions found between (the three active ingredients in) this medication and food. Fortunately, according to my research there aren't any. This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. Having said that, I personally would think that it's ok to take with "or" without food. If you'd like to feel reassured though, I'd suggest contacting a pharmacy or doctor in your local area. I hope this helps! ## my doctor advised to take after f...

How much eno should be given to 5 year old kid to relieve stomach pain? ## ENO is an over the counter antacid containing sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), and citric acid. According to the manufacturer's product page, "ENO powder is indicated for adults and children who are at least 12-years-old." Source: eno.co.in/eno-faq That said, you may have to look at other alternatives for your 5-year-old. On a side note, I never knew a child who couldn't have baking soda... Hope this helps!

Since she is pregnant, it is especially important that this be monitored and her dosage adjusted very carefully. Her doctor should be helping and this shouldn't be left up to your guesswork. I was taking Bupropion 150 mg SR twice per day ( so i was taking a total of 300 mg per day). Then my Dr switched me to the bupropion HCL 150 mg XL once per day and said it was the same as taking 300 mg per day. It doesn't seem right to me. Any thoughts on why this makes sense? ## Your doctor may be referring to the notion that 150mgs of extended release Bupropion is similar to taking it twice per day; since it remains in your system for a much longer period of time. Perhaps it is still in your system by the time you would've previously taken your second dose. It's not 100% clear to me, but that's the only logical reasoning I can think of. They say if you take 150mgs of XL in the morning, then you shouldn't need to take anymore of it later in the day. Whereas with SR ...

Lac-Dos Lactase

Lactase is an enzyme produced by many organisms. It is located in the brush border of the small intestine of humans and other mammals. Lactase is essential to the complete digestion of whole milk; it breaks down lactose, a sugar which gives milk its sweetness. Lacking lactase, a person consuming dairy products may experience the symptoms of lactose intolerance.[1] Lactase can be purchased as a food supplement, and is added to milk to produce "lactose-free" milk products. A friend has taken 20 pills of thyronorm 25mcg out of hysteria.. What might be the repercussions? Please reply urgently. ## If you have reason to fear for the life and health of a loved one, you should contact your nearest emergency services or take them to the nearest emergency department, rather than posting online and waiting for an answer. And overdose of any medication is dangerous and risks death, organ damage and other serious health repercussions. High doses of the Levothyroxine in this creates the risk of seizures, strokes, heart palpitations and extremely high blood pressure. Even if she showed no ill effects, at the time she took them, she needs to see a doctor, because she could have done other damage to her body. How is she doing? ## I take 50mcg thyronorm daily. Last night, unknown to me, my fiance took around 9 mg of my prescription klonopin. Needless to say, he passed out and slept for around 14 hours. He's now awake, lucid, normal, healthy appetite, but he's experiencing muscle weakness and bouts of sleepiness. How long will these effects last? I DO NOT want him going to work until it is out of his system, as he has a physical job. Needless to say, I'm very angry with him, and scared for his well-being. How long will this be in his system, and does it require any medical attention? It's been 28 hours already. ## That is a very high amount to take, at once. And yes, he should consult his doctor, because though he may otherwise feel fine, except for the aches and weakness, he could have caused some organ damage. It would be bes...

I have oval peach/pink lisinopril with the number 101 and what looks like the letter Get on them, I would like to know what dosage they are. ## Hi Sheila, From the Lisinopril images online, I'm seeing an oval peach/pinkish tablet with a strange looking italicized "E" sitting to the left of "101" imprinted on one side of the pill and blank on the other. Is this what you're describing as well? If so, it's reported to be a 10mg Lisinopril tablet, manufactured by Sandoz. I hope this helps! Please post back though if you believe it to be something else.

I want to reduce my use of 5325 Norco. I have a new hip replacement and not in that much pain. What do you suggest? ## Usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, if possible. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. If you haven't been taking them for too long, this process should be much easier than the vast majority of withdrawals people go through from taking them for years on end. I wish you a quick recovery!

Which Is Stronger Hydrocodone Apap 5mg 500mg Or 10 325 ## Hi Kim, I can't really tell you if one will be stronger or not since medications can affect everyone differently, some people get great results from taking, but there are others that it doesn't work for; the only way to find out is to actually try it. If I were to make an assumption though, I'd say that the 10/325 combination may be more effective, since the amount of Hydrocodone is doubled and the amount is Acetaminophen is not completely cut in half in comparison to the 5/500 combination. I wasn't able to find a list of all the various dosages that are available for Hydrocodone + Acetaminophen. So it could be that my assumption is wrong, but none the less, you'd have to try them both and compare the effects ...
