Is this the same pill as M475 pink pill which has been changed to M030? ## Hello, My research shows that the two pills are in fact one in the same. They even have the same manufacturer, Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc. To view more information about this drug, please click on the link below... If you have any other questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to assist you. ## The site you listed does not answer the question: Is Nifedipine 475 the same as Nifedipine 030. I have been taking Nifedipibe ER 30mg since March 2016. My doctor increased my dosage up to 60mg Nifedipine starting 10/20/2016. How long does it take my body to adjust to the higher dosage and should I expect any side effects? ## Hello, Melinda! How are you? Yes, side effects will typically occur any time your dosage is raised, and the FDA lists them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. It usually takes about 4 to 5 weeks for your body to adjust. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you Verwon, it seems that I'm experiencing a couple of the side effects, headache and increased urination, my BP readings are somewhat bouncing around, I'm really hoping they will stabilize very soon. Once again thank you for your reply...

My mom takes a lot of pills and a typo from me caused her to take two 90 mg ER Nifedipine tablets. I am TERRIFIED that I have just hurt or worsened my mom. What will happen? Should I take her to the ER? Should I call the ambulance. Nothing has happened yet, but I am so scared. Her blood pressure before was 186 over 104, pulse 95. PLEASE HELP, I AM FREAKING OUT! ## Hello, Rhonda! How is your mom doing? Did she experience any adverse effects? Generally doubling up once doesn't cause any serious issues, other than possibly more severe side effects, according to the FDA. So she may experience more nausea, dizziness, headache, and urination than normal. It could also cause her blood pressure to be lower than usual. Is she on any other medications?

I am taking 60mg of nifedipine and I am having unpleasant dreams every night. Is there an alternative which does not have this side effect? ## Hello, Mick! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem you're experiencing. That is possible with most medications. How long have you been taking it? Most side effects tend to go away, once your body gets used to a medication, which generally takes about 4 to 5 weeks. The FDA lists other typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension. There are other medications available, so if it's still happening and it's been longer than 5 weeks, it will most likely just be a matter of trial and error to find one that doesn't cause you such an issue. ## I've been taking nifedi...

Is Nifedipine ER 60mg TER, a light pinkish tablet with KU261 on one side, and a small hole in the middle of the other side, the same manufacturer as Nifedipine ER 60 mg, a darker pink tablet with M 060 on one side, and a small hole in the middle of the other side? ## Hi Ann, To answer your question, both of the pills in question are one in the same drug. The only difference I noticed is that they are manufactured by different companies ("KU 261" is manufactured by Kremers Urban & "M 060" is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc.) Because of this, there may be a slight variation of inactive ingredients; but other than that you can be assured that they are the same drug and same dosage. NOTE: Certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in ...

Last night I might have taken Nifedipine er 30mg two times accidentally....at 8:30 and at 10:30. I had no side effects except for my pulse increasing from 73 to 93 within an hour of the second pill. It is now 6:23 a.m. I am fine but a little hesitant about whether to take my metoprolol succinate er 25 mg at 10:30 this morning. And do I resume the regular dose of Nifedipine tonight at about 9 pm? ## Did you experience any other symptoms? The FDA lists them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and hypotension. And yes, generally you should just continue with your normal dosing schedule, unless your doctor directs otherwise. Are these the only medications you are currently taking?

why can i not find the generic nifedipine 30mg er Mylan pill marked M475 anymore. Has this been discontinued and replaced by the Mylan pill marked M030? I don't want to take a pill that is not the same as the M475. ## I don't like the gray pill marked 30 m. I was told they discontinued the 475 M and now I have the worst side effects. I'm trying to find a different medication because of this change by Mylan. ## Hi, Sammy, what kind of side effects are you receiving while taking the Mylan lavender pill imprinted with M030? I am taking the 30mg pill also and am not pleased with the change. ## I need to know if Nifedipine M 482 has been discontinued. I'm taking aspirin (81mg daily), efficient (15mg), coreg (6.25mg daily), isosorbide mono er (30mg once daily), nifedipine er (30mg daily), 20mg lasix daily, 40mg lipitor (1 at night), metformin (250mg as needed), losartan potassium (100mg daily), potassium cl micro (10 mg once daily) and protonix ec (40 mg twice a day). Are any of these meds interacting with one another? ## There is always a possibility of interactions, but it really depends on you, according to NIH reports. Are you having any problems taking them all? Have you experienced any side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headaches, or diarrhea? Why is the Metformin an as needed medication? That is odd, it usually meant to be taken regular to control blood sugar levels, or treat conditions such as PCOD/PCOS. What conditi...

Have been taking NIFEDIPINE ER 60 MG for years and my pharmacy is now supplying a pill NIFEDIPINE ER 60 MG which is a mustard yellowpill round much smaller and with markings of B on one side and 60 on other. Are these tablets identical as have been able to find any info and could be coincidence but my breathing has become much worse ## Hello, Eugene! How are you? Yes, that is the correct medication, this tablet also contains 60mgs of Nifedipine in a time released formulation. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, stomach pain and headache. When was the last time your blood pressure was checked? If you're having trouble breathing, you need to have it checked out, because that may be a sign of congestive heart failure.

Taking mylan nifedipine er and teva naproxen 250 mg together alright? ## Hello, Doreen! How are you? No, it might not be safe for you to take any NSAID, if you have high blood pressure. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications can sometimes cause elevated blood pressure as side effects, along with fluid retention, which can further contribute to the problem, so you shouldn't take them, without your doctor's approval. Nifedipine is a calcium channel blocker that's most commonly used to teat hypertension and certain cardiac conditions, its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been given Atenolol 100MG and Lisin/HCTZ 20-12.5 by one doctor and Nifedipine 60MG ER by a cardiologist and told to take all three drugs for high blood pressure. Is this normal to take 3 different medications? I'm feeling very tired all the time. ## Yes, if you had particularly high blood pressure that needs to be brought down fast, then having multiple drugs prescribed is completely normal, due to the fact that it is far too dangerous to leave it high. The tiredness you are feeling could be due to two reasons, the first could be side effects of the medications, which should taper off as your body adjusts to them. The second can be due to the blood pressure lowering, since your body is used to running at a higher level. Are you checking your BP regularly?

Why would i react with nausea, swelling, rash to 30 mg Nifidical xl when only swelling was a reaction with 90 mg nifidipine Er? ## There is a chance that you reacted to one of the inactive ingredients, or it may not have been related to the medication, at all.
