Today I got my Endocet 10/325 filled and for the first time given the Alvogen brand. WORST generic of this medication I've EVER taken. This company needs to be checked out. I have read where companies have a scale for the active ingredient and it can range from 85 to 100% on the active. I don't think this brand has even 50%! Have taken Endocet brand for 2 years for sciatica with great results. With this generic brand I received today, is going to make for a long month till next office visit. Is there anything I can do since I already purchased these and they aren't giving me the same relief?? ## Hello, Vicki! How are you? The amount allowable for fluctuation in the active ingredients is actually plus or minus 20% and that actually doesn't add up to a significant differen...

I have genotype 1a and will begin treatment with harvoni next week. Any advice, information on.1a, my Dr. Said it was a tougher one to get rid of. All enzymes are good, no cirrhosis detected, advice on what to expect would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!! :-) :-) :-) ## That is the geno type I had and my viral load was thirty six million seven hundred twenty thousand and it still worked I was clear after 4 weeks and still after 12 weeks I get a final blood test in September because it can hide in the body so they recheck after 6 months then you know for sure if you are clear or not. ## The FDA lists the typical side effects of Harvoni as possibly including nausea, fatigue, headache, trouble sleeping, and muscle pain. I have been taking Celebrex and now my prescription plan sends me generic and it is not working for me, I am miserable. Are all generics from different companies all the same? ## Hello, Lizzie! How are you? What types of symptoms are you experiencing? No, not all generics are the same. Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, they are allowed to differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredient, by as much as plus or minus 20%. They also do not have to measure against each other, only against the name brand, so one generic may be a little higher or lower in the amount of the active ingredient than the next. Usually, the differences are minute and your body will adjust after a week or so. How long have you been taking this new one? What are the markings on it?

what color is clonidine 0.2mg ## what color is generic clonidine 0.2mg ## That is impossible to say. Once a pill is available for generic manufacturer, it is made by many different companies and each pill will look different. The color is entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. There is no law that says all 0.2mgs have to be the same color from one company to the next, so some may be white, some pink, some blue. ## Is .02mg 3 times a day alot. It does make me very sluggish, will that subside in time? ## I need help with getting clonidine 0.2 mg can you please help me I have high blood pressure, diabetes, glaucoma, depressing and No medical I do wirk but its so expensive I cant afford the clonidine thanks ## Are u looking for clonidine cuz I have plenty of them available

I took my first 30mg last night and have to use the 60mg by next week I have very bad heartburn that its bubbling out my mouth, i am very nausias, my insides feel as if they are shaking and my one pupil is big and the other small - is this normal. I battled to sleep and my mouth has no siliva. Should I stop - dr said i would feel bad for 2 weeks but goodness this isnt fun. ## Have you contacted your doctor about it? I suggest you do so immediately. Those are not normal side effects and the change in your pupils is very worrisome and could be the sign of a serious reaction. ## I went back today she's also not happy with the pupil thing. Made appointment at the specialist but can only get appointment for 21/6. Taken off tablets straight away. Bit scared now - could it be that I have s...

Which generic manufacturer has the most active ingredient? I think endo does but its hard to find in jeff in. What would be the next best to the endo? ## What it really comes down to is which one works best for you. Everyone can say which one they've found to work best, but that doesn't mean you'll have the same experience with it. You can learn more Percocet details here. One thing you could try is asking your doctor to write the prescription as 'brand medically necessary', so your insurance would pay for it and then you'd eliminate the problem. Does anyone else have any ideas or advice?

My wife is on Keppra (brand name) and wishes to switch to generic brand. Do you have an experience with the various Keppra brands or with switching from the brand name to the generic? Tks. djs ## Yes, my daughter was switched to the generic brand by my pharmacy because my insurancen no longer covered the brand name when the generic brand came out. My daughter was in and out of the hospital for the next two months (for two weeks the first months and 3 of 4 weeks the second month) immediately following the switch. The doctors immedicately switched her back to the brand keppra. I do not recommend switching without doctor supervision. ## My husband was switched to the generic because we could not afford the brand name co-pay. He was on Dilantin and having horrible side effects. He is 55 and...

Have been prescribed Deplin and my pharmacy is substituting Duleek DP. My Dr. says there is no generic for Deplin and wants my Rx filled as written next time. I am also experiencing weight gain which I feel could be associated with the Duleek DP I am taking. ## Answer is yes and no. Delplin does have a generic equivalent but it's not AB rated by the FDA. This means while it has same chemical makeup, it differs in bioavailability (may not be absorbed in the brain identically). I admit Delphin is quite expensive as compared to alternative ("generics"). Most patients who take Delplin also are taking an anti-depression medication in conjuction to Deplin with increases effectiveness via brain folate. It has been my observation that weight gain is a common side effect of many anti...

I've always gotten the orange Amneal marked AN 415. Recently in the past few months the main pharmacy I was using Walgreens were telling me that they were out of those kind and I had to look for pharmacies that did have them after receiving the white Actavis brand which was the worst switch! I just looked right next door to Safeways who did have them. Eventually Walgreens told me they were no longer going to be getting those kind after telling me that they were on "back order" for so long. The pharmacist who is usually nice was a jerk about it also. So I moved permanently (or so I hoped) to Safeway but the last 2 months they too ran out and were allot nicer in telling me that they have been having a hard time ordering the Amneal orange ones and that they might not be getting...

I'm going to get my script soon, ive been taking the Actavis brand (Walgreens) and I asked if my next refill it could be the Greenstone g3722. My dosage I'd 2mg. I has the Mylan xr but would say the ACTAVIS is better. Should I stick to Actavis or go for Greenstone? I haven't tried Sandoz nor Dava. ## Greenstone use to be best as they we're bought out by parent co.of Xanax but they dilluated the formula a few years ago. I've been using the 2mg XR Actavis and their not too bad...so yes Actavis works. ## No one "diluted" the formula when a new company bought them. @Benzolover, you seem like you need some further understanding of what Xanax is and does, just a tad too excited about the drug. ## I'm very informed on this drug.
