Have you tried talking to your doctor? However, you should be warned that if you are using them more often than you are supposed to and ran out early, they may not do anything to help. can anyone tell me if you can take oxycodone Hcl 30mg by breaking it in half. I have them for chronic pain. It is a blue round pill with a V on one side and 4812 on the other. The pill is scored on one side. It seems to be a high dose for one time. I would like to break it and only try one half the first time but I dont know if it is an IR or CR tablet. I just picked up my prescription from a mom n pop pharmacy. Seems like every other month they have a different manufacturer. Trust me I know - they buy the cheapest brand lot available at the time. But these new ones I just got are horrible. They're produced by Lupin Pharmaceuticals. They are blue in color and HARD as a rock!!! When I visit the website they keep comparing themselves to Mallinckrodt. I used to get Mallinckrodt before I switched to the new pharmacy and they were by far the best. I had broken two vertebrae and dislocated my shoulder in a car accident on the GSP. Was seeing someone way up in N. Jersey. Good doc (but crowded office) but it's too far for me to drive. Hello, I was just prescribed by my pain doctor oxycodone 30 mg imm rel tab I get 90 pills every 2 weeks cause I have bulging disc in my neck C3-C6. This is my 5th different med I have taken I have been switched so many times trying to find something stronger that will relieve my pain. I have had 3 different neck procedures going on my 4th procedure in 2 weeks. I just went to my pain management appointment, which I go to every month and have been told to find another office. My usual doctor had been on maternity leave since July this year, however she never returned. I had still been receiving my regularly prescribed meds by a nurse practitioner covering for her. Now on this most recent appointment, last week, there is a new pain intervention specialist that refuses to continue to prescribe narcotic pain meds. She said that she would start giving me inj's. next month, if not, I am to find another doctor. I have 7 herniated discs and a multitude of skeletal and muscular degenerative conditions with prior surgery. I have been receiving this medication for over 11 years.
