Can I take tramacet and neurontin for nerve pain? ## I am taking Neurontin for nerve pain in my face. I was also given Tramacet for headaches triggered by pain in the jaw joint. The Neurontin works on the face pain but not the jaw and headaches. I have found if I take tramcet late in the evening it won't let me sleep. The neurontin helps me sleep otherwise. If I take them both in the day time there is no problem but I just take the tramacet once in a day and maybe once or twice a week. I have fibromyalgia so have had trouble sleeping for 17 years - the neurontin is like a miracle drug because I can finally sleep!! And it is the only thing I take now.

My doctor has me on 600 mg Neurontin a day, plus 150mg of Lyrica a day, plus 100mg of Savella a day... I am always fog brained, drunk feeling, tired, nauseated. I have been on this combination for atleast three years now. I am however just now finding out that, lyrica and Neurontin are the same medication, and that savella is just like lyrica. I was prescribed Neurontin for peripheral nerve pain in Dec.2008.I only took 2 100 mg. capsules,one per day for two days.The 3rd. day I feel very spaced out,disconnected from reality,developed poor short term memoryand got headaches in my fontal brain.I stopped the med right away but 16 months later I still become spaced out every day.My GP has sent me to some specialists for tests.These tests included a shrink(for the standard Alzheimers and dimensia test,results negative),a neurologist(again,memory tests and anEEG(results negative),a brain MRI(results negative),anti-depressant meds,all with no positive results.Mostly, these doctors,once they here my complaints,clam up and drop me like a hot potato!I know from researching the web that neurontin has resulted in many people commiting sui...

I am going to take 100 mg neurontin twice a day and .5 mg xanax and 30 mg remeron at night. My pharmacy has recently stopped carrying Actavis generic Neurontin 100 mg. They also said they "could not order Actavis for me". So, I ended up purchasing the Brand Neurontin. My insurance picked up some but it was still $$$. Now that I've tried the brand it seems to work better at neuropathic pain control. Just wondering in May 2015 if anyone in the USA has found a generic Neurontin that they really like or works for them? I stopped taking my Neurontin after having what I think is an allergic reaction to the med. I was started on 100mg once a day for a week, then went to 200mg once a day for 1 week. A few days after starting the 200mg my eyes started itching, I didn't really think too much about it. Then about 3 days after I was increased to 300mg my eyes started swelling with blurred vision and runny eyes. I also couldn't understand why my throat felt as though it was shutting off and I started getting flu like symptoms and my face was swollen as well. My dr started me on eye drops with antibiotics in them, but my stayed swollen. A little white capsule with the RX627 on each half of the capsule. It is supposed to be the generic form of neurontin. ## Does anyone know if this drug works? I was recently started on neurontin and even before discharge I advised the psychiatrist that I was having reactions. He felt they were occurring from starting Geodon and stopped that one. I was having discharge on Friday April 27th. Symptoms worsen and I read more on neurontin and really am concerned. I called the BSU as I wanted guidance and was told to discontinue it. I am unable to remember the start date but thinking it was possibly the Tues or Wed of last week. I REALLY am very concerned about permanent damage... It is a low dose 100 mg TID. I see my primary tomorrow for hospital follow up. HOWEVER, I could use reassurance as I am clearly very anxious and VERY fearful, especially about my memory... I take 100mg each night to allow myself a nights sleep without my mind racing through thoughts. My neurologist said the only side affect is sleep. Was I too trusting. ## Hello, Barbara! How are you? I have white oval pills with the letters S G on one side and 117 on the other side of the pill. What are they? Neurontin 600mg? ## I located a white oval pill with S G on one side and 107 on the other. Is there any chance that you might've misread the imprint? The pill I found is reportedly identified as Metformin HCL 1000mg, used for type-2 diabetes. I'm being taken off of Neurontin/Gabapentin after seven years. I'm now crying, anxious, and itching all over! I have tried antihistamines and cortisone creams but with no relief. ## yes this is normal I went through the same thing. I was on 3600 for eight years. I weaned off very slowly. I started weening off in 2008. I am now down to 400mg and go down about 100 a week. I started with 100 MG and now I'm up to 300mg twice a day for a total of 600mg per day. Still having outbursts and some mood swings of sorts...I'm not bipolar but I have a sort of flip switch that could be triggered by many things...This causes my temper to rise up. ## How long have you been on the current dosage?
