Nervigen injections re being prescribed to my father (ge 65yrs), dibetic patient and currently having pain in the leg. I wanted to read about it more. ## Nervigen-p is not available at kolkata, please help me find the substitute medicine. ## I have no way of knowing what is available there, have you tried asking your doctor or pharmacist for an equivalent medication? Nervijen-P contains the medication Pregabalin, which is an anticonvulsant used to treat nerve pain and the vitamins Methylcobalamin, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid and Benfothiamine. Hi I have severe back pain and Dr. Suggested for nervijen p capsule 1 tablet per day at night after food can I take 2 pills as pain is severe in a day ## Hello, Raj! How are you? This is not pain medication, this is just a nutritional supplement that contains some vitamin that can help with nerve pain, however, it's not going to work like an analgesic. And no, doubling up isn't a good idea, because taking too much of some of the nutrients it contains could be dangerous. If you need something for pain, you'll need to return to your doctor. Is there anything else I can help with?

I was under treatment with of thalidomide from November to March 2012, for obscure GI bleeding. This bleeding started after GI ENDOSCOPY of stomach. The thalidomide administration was stopped as I developed tingling, numbness, wet floor feeling , sensation of electric current etc and was advised Nervigen D initially for three months and then Gabapantinine 200 for two months. Since there was no improvement , I consulted Neurologist at Apolo Indrsprastha Hospital New Delhi. I was advised following tests: 1. S. B12, S.Vi+D3 2. NCV, UL+VL, S+M Conclusions are: 1. These nutrients are all vital to your overall health, but as a supplement, it has not been tested for side effects, as is done with actual prescription drugs, however, some people have reported some nausea after taking it. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Nervigen Plus has pregabalin that can have withdrawal symptoms, if the capsule is stopped. However, Nervigen has only suplements. ## I am sorry about the earlier post.
