a really good drug for nerve pain is neourotin or gapabentin (same thing) i may be spelling wrong. but it does wonders. your welcome. ## I am starting to wonder what is wrong with me even more because Gabapintin 600mgs does nothing at all for my pain from a frostbitten foot compounded by electrical shock while standing in some water while plugging up a buffer from a 220 volt socket Plus for some reason doctors here in Indianapolis don't have a clue as how to treat my problem. I wonder why none of them offered me any of the first medication you talked about ## It did nothing for my nerve pain too. It also made me crazy with brain zaps. ## As with any medication, Neurontin (Gabapentin) does not work for everyone that tries it. We are all different, so what works well for one person mi...

I read where "Nerve Up" tablets, which I understand is a multi-vitamin, helps pain due to damaged nerves. I was born with spina-Bifida and a hole in my back 1932. The doctor did not know what it was and sewed the hole up. Had no significant problems except don't touch my back until I was 68 years old at which time I began having terrible pain in my lower back, legs and tailbone. My primary physician did not know what the problem was so he sent me to an orthopedic doctor who made an X-Ray and told me I had Spina Bifida and my spinal cord was tethered; he referred me to a Neurologist who concurred with his diagnosis and sent me to a Neuro-Surgeon. The Neuro-Surgeon told me if I did not have surgery to release my spinal cord I would be paralyzed from the waist down and lose cont...

I recently had transposition of ulnar nerve, about a month ago. I am in horrible, chronic pain. Neurontin does not seem to be working. My pain management dr mentioned Topamax. How do I deal with this constant nerve pain. It is in my left hand, little finger and ring finger. ## I am very sorry about what you're dealing with, nerve pain is terrible. What is your current dose of Neurontin? You might do better with the Topomax, if your doctor thinks you should try it. It does work well for many people. Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, alopecia, anemia, and anorexia. Are you on any other medications?

I have back pain and my limbs get easily numb. So I went to a doctor who prescribed me trinerve lc. Is it a correct prescription? I am getting slight blood in my nose due to rupture maybe but I noticed this only after I started the course of trinerve lc. Does it have any side effects? ## The only actual medication contained in Trinerve is Pregabalin, which is an anticonvulsant that's also been proven to help with certain types of nerve pain. Learn more Pregabalin details here. The rest of the active ingredients are just nutritional supplements, a vitamin V complex. However, some B vitamins may cause some blood thinning, which could be causing your nasal problem. I suffer with TMJ disorder. I am taking acetyl l-carnitine, probiotics, and nerve shield. None of this seems to be helping me. I don't know what else to do. Please help me!!! ## Hi Tee, I'm so sorry to hear that these supplements haven't been working for you. Did a doctor recommend that you take these supplements? Based on my research, the best supplements for TMJ are ones that will reduce inflammation of the jaw as well as relax the muscles. All of the supplements you've mentioned seem great, but I don't quite understand how they can be effective for TMJ. Have you tried any other treatments like acupuncture or essential oils? The essential oils lavender and chamomile may help you to relax and release the tension in your jaw. Also, copaiba oil has immense anti- infla...

I've got a pinched sciatic nerve that has gotten progressively worse over the past 6 weeks. Finally went to an ER because the pain became unbearable. I had been trying yoga poses/stretches for the hamstrings. That really didn't help. I was in an ER yesterday, for about 5 hours or so, because after I had got up in the morning I was unable to move without excruciating pain in my right hip down through my right leg..I couldn't move on my own, and the paramedics that picked me up, OMG I was screaming and balling in pain.. Over the course of the 5 hours I was there in the ER, I got injected (through an IV) of FENTanyl 50mg (didn't help). About 40 mins later I got a shot of TORadol (30mg), didn;t help.. FINALLY, around 3:34pm, I got a shot of morphine.. OMG!! Was that the most...

I think I have a pinched nerve somewhere in back. For 3 weeks I've had sharp pain that shoots down my left buttocks to my knee' It's like a knife sticking into me. Could it be something else because I was rubbing my thigh and I felt knots everywhere. I do not have cellulitis. What are these lumps?

Hi I'd like to know a North American alternate to Nereve Up OD. Thanks ## Nervup-OD is just a nutritional supplement that contains Methylcobalamin (vitamin B12), alpha lipoic acid, folic acid and pyridoxine (vitamin B6). All of these are available over the counter in the U.S. in most vitamin shops, drug stores and grocery stores, you'd just need to look for something that contains the same ingredients. You can also ask a pharmacist for assistance. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks for the reply. it's round peach and has number1 and line between it and number 2 on botton ## The closest match I could find was a round peach pill imprinted with the number "21" on one side and a score line on the other side with a very small "I" above it. This particular pill is identified as Venlafaxine hydrochloride 75 mg, used in the treatment of depression & anxiety. Manufacturer: Aurobindo Pharma National Drug Code (NDC): 65862-0407 Does this sound like a possibility?
