What does. Nerotin look like??? ## Neurontin contains the active ingredient Gabapentin, which is an anticonvulsant that has also been shown to help with certain types of nerve pain and mood disorders. It is available as both a name brand and generic, which means it is being manufactured by several different companies and in quite a few different doses, so I couldn't possible describe them all for you. However, if you can be more specific, like posting back to let me know if you want the details on the name brand, a certain generic by one manufacturer, or a certain dosage, then I will gladly find this information for you. When I was a child in the 1950s, my grandmother would ask me to bring her "nerve pills" to her. They were a bright green capsule. What was the name of this medicine? ## I'm sorry, but that really isn't enough to go on to even make a guess. There were as many green pills on the market back then as there are today. Some medications have been removed from the market, some haven't. What they were used/approved to treat may have also changed, things have switched from being over the counter to prescription and vice-versa. Does anyone else have any ideas? ## My mom was on nerve pills in the late 1950s and we were trying to think of the name earlier this evening. We finally happened on Librium and when I asked her, she said yes, that was it. Looking it up, two of the dosage...

Hi I'd like to know a North American alternate to Nereve Up OD. Thanks ## Nervup-OD is just a nutritional supplement that contains Methylcobalamin (vitamin B12), alpha lipoic acid, folic acid and pyridoxine (vitamin B6). All of these are available over the counter in the U.S. in most vitamin shops, drug stores and grocery stores, you'd just need to look for something that contains the same ingredients. You can also ask a pharmacist for assistance. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks for the reply. It was really helpful. ## I have undergone bonemarrow transplantation after 3 cycles of chemotherapy with bortezomib. During second cycle herpes affected me. Hi everyone I have peripheral nerve damage and muscle damage. I took this medication in 2012, been having a lot of problems since then, not sure it's all because of this drug, but been looking at it recently. First thing is that if I understand correctly this drug fights it's battle by changing the DNA of what it's trying to kill, then my question is does it also change the DNA of our bodies. I know that there is a line of antibiotics called FQ that does the same thing and recently they have been proven that they do change the DNA of our bodies and can let to more complication.i have also took these medicine in the past 03 and 08 , both for a dose only for other surgeries. The metronidazole I took for a week or so. If you look into the field of genre mutation, I then run int...

Hi have nuroapathy bad extending from elbows and painfull they gave me perks which I don't want and really don't work. Someone gave me a blue capsule with at least the number2 on it twice does anyone know what that was. Looking up on line I've read that any kind of drugs that are antiseizer med can bring on this condition is this true? I don't drink ideas on why I have this? ## Hello, Steve! How are you feeling? I'm sorry, but it's difficult to be certain what the capsule was, without knowing the full imprint. And no, anticonvulsants can help treat neuropathy, they don't usually cause it. Due to the way they act on brain chemicals, they can help alleviate the associated nerve pain. It's also not necessarily associated with drinking. It's basically jus...

Looking 4 a Dr around Corbin, Ky that prescribes suboxone and nerve meds. ## You can use the search engine on the Suboxone site to find a doctor that has the waiver to treat with it. It is located at Suboxone.com click here, you can search by zip code and their contact information will be included, so you can check to see if they are accepting new patients. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, you will likely need to see a different doctor for nerve medications. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?

Hey everyone, I need some help please! I Have been off methadone for 2 months now. I was put on it for severe pain and was a terrible decision to ever go on it in the first place. I have been reading other people's posts and I know people have experienced extremely bad headaches but I have been having headaches where it feels like someone is squeezing my brain plus it feels like my forehead is on fire and it also will feel cold tingling and numb at times. It also moves around on my scalp. just when I think it's getting better the next day it's back. Has anyone experienced this? Does it ever go away? How long did it take to start feeling normal again? I hope this is not permenant! I'm thinking this is caused from neurotransmmiters trying to come back or maybe nerves being...

I live in north Mississippi and looking fffor a Dr. that will write for pain and nerve medicine ## Hello, Timbo! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no database of doctors according to who will or will not prescribe anything that I can refer to for you. Additionally, with the new regulations that were put in place this year, you'll most likely need to see two different specialists for such medications to be prescribed. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly that could refer you to someone? If so, that would most likely be the easiest and quickest way to get the help you need.

Does anyone know of a doctor's office that doesn't have a policy against prescribing narcotic painkillers (such as lortab)? ## I have looked FOREVER!
