I have been taking this for 2 months now starting at 20 and now at 30 and I've been waking up (sometimes after only 4 or 5 hours sleep) with severe pain in my fingers, hands and sometimes my arms!? Cymbalta was prescribed to help nerve pain as a result of a cut nerve during surgery. I have been on it for 6-7 weeks and have little relief. Hi I have been on lyrica 200g twice daily and since starting I have put on near two stone. I started slimming world while still on it but I am shifting now if it. Just got to the end of week one taking Lyrica @75mg twice daily. I have had Lupus for ten years and my nerves are getting fried. Has anyone else experienced MORE pain at the beginning of this process? I usually have intermittent pain in various parts of my body from the Lupus which worsens if I'm having a flare up. But since starting the Lyrica my pain level has increased in every part of my body simultaneously. I am a 40 yr old who has been on lyrica for 4 years now. I was in a car accident and due to nerve damage along my spine was put on Lyrica after surgery. I've tried Horizant for two nights with awful side effects. Had to take 30mg of Oxycodone along with it to get me through the night. Am also being weaned off 5mg of Requip XL at the same time. The doc now wants me to take it at 1pm instead of 5pm and on an empty stomach because it won't absorb as well and may cut down on the side effects.
