I'm in the middle of an appeal for disability with binder & the disability...each day that goes by things have gone down hill... FAST! I am looking for a place where I can use a prescription for Oxycodone 30 mg.qty 240, my mother needs these and we cannot find them anywhere. I'm taking the 15mg extended release OxyContin for severe back pain and degenerative disc disease as I was switched from 10 mg 10/325 Percocet BUT the switch is not working for me, I have not been getting relief and am still in pain, is this normal? HELP,,,,,i went to my pain management appointment today and they post dated my scripts out 2 days. they told me they changed their policy and they no longer schedule patients every 28 days but now every 30. Unfortunately I'm out of my medication and on my scripts, it does say "do not fill til 1-14-11" at the bottom even though the scripts are dated today. I went to several pharmacies and they said they can not fill it til the 14th? my concern is now going thru withdrawl. is there any pharmacies that will overlook that small print on the bottom that says not to fill til the 14th? Plain and simple, I live in the Medford/Mt Holly/Marlton area in South Jersey. I have my MRI and paperwork; I have a spine curvature/scoliosis, 2 disc bulges, and a herniated disc all in L1-L5 areas, and compression? in S1-S2. I've taken Oxycodone and Methadone on my own before and they worked wonders. But now I can not find a doctor accepting new patients in the area that will prescribe Oxycodone. My doctor retired. Looking for Dr. or DO in Portland Maine area to treat chronic pain. ## Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist for long-term ongoing treatment of chronic pain. Have you found a new PCP, yet? Having one that can refer you to someone would likely be the easiest way to get the help you need. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Does anyone else know of a good doctor in that area?

This is the first time in my life I have asked for help. That is probably why I'm asking on a website and not family or friends. I have been doing oxy for about a year or so and I want to stop. I'm 21 and want to get a hold of myself before it's too late. I only do about 1 80 mg pill a day but it's an expensive habit and it's not worth it. I need it when I wake up or I just feel terrible. losing doctor for pain meds, have to find doctor in Carbon County Pennsylvania, preferably near Lehighton Pa. Have MRI of my back and have been on oxycodone for last 10 years. Dont want to go through pain managment. ## I live in lehighton too and Im in the same boat as you.
