Need Help And Advice In Independence Mo

I am a 35 year old man. I desperately need some advice. Hopefully from someone who's been through this. I have a CAT scan tomorrow and I had an allergic reaction to contrast iodine. One side of my face became swollen. I told my doctor and they prescribed Medrol(the generic) for me to take to prepare my body from having an allergic reaction. I'm supposed to take 8 tablets(4mg each) 12 hours and then another 8 two hours before injection. I'm really terrified of taking so many and the side effects it might have on my body. I'm aware of the side effects, but to take such a heavy does scares me. The pharmacist, nurse and doctor tell me that it's a standard dosage for what I need and that It might be rough on my stomach and get me wired/jittery for a couple of days. The &#......

Hello.. I recently started going to the Methadone clinic to help me with my addiction to H and painkillers. I am currently on 60 mg. They have been moving me up very slowly because I have liver issues. I am still experiencing bad WD symptoms in the evening and it's driving me nuts! I also have several autoimmune diseases. I don't know if it could be because of the diseases or maybe 60 mg, it isn't high enough to keep me good 24/7 yet. Any ideas or advice? My Neurologist in nyc has had me on 30mg oxy (PO every 4-6 hrs), which I have been taking for the last 2 years. I just moved to Charlotte NC and I need a doctor who will do a similar routine. southeastern pain care is not one of them. I just won 10, and without any examination, this position told me that I have fibromyalgia and that I need to be on fibromyalgia medication. He didn't examine me, he didn't do anything. This is very helpful. I am 24 and work full time and go to college. I have been taking vyvanse ever since its been on the market. It is amazing and sometimes a blessing but it also is a crutch. I take it during the work week for energy and focus due to ADD and it helps but I find myself needing breaks from it, it makes my heart race and makes me nervous, anxious, and different than i normally am. I worry about being on meds forever and I dont want to take ANYTHING while pregnant so I am wondering if I should stop taking within the next few months or wait til i am finished with school? Hi thanks for taking the time to read this and any advice would be helpful asap. I am going to a new doctor tomorrow. I have heard he is willing to prescribe pain killers and has to some patients, but definitely not a place where he does to every patient. I used to be on 30mg oxycodone and 50mg Tramadol as well as Soma for my back, knees, feet and other bad pain. I went off health insurance a year ago and have not been able to get my meds. My quality of life has went downhill bad. I have put on weight and my blood pressure went up. Also exercising minimally has become difficult as has performing my work and being intimate at home with spouse. I need to get back on these meds asap. My health problem started with rashes, coughing, hot temperature and severe head ache about 16years ago. Reading some of these posts I feel I am reading about myself ..
