Vimpat and Leukemia
I was taking Vimpat in 2012 and 2013. I was recently diagnosed with Leukemia (CML). Has anyone been diagnosed with Leukemia while taking Vimpat? Thanks, A M ## Hello, AM! How are you? I didn't find any reports of such and I checked both research literature and anecdotal reports. I am very sorry that you have been diagnosed with Leukemia, but you may not ever actually find a reason. What is your prognosis? ## Verwon, Thanks for the response. I have CML and I'm working on getting this into remission. I did notice that many of the seizure drugs have side effects that negatively effect your blood counts and give certain blood disorders. Vimpat has many of these side effects on record but leukemia has not been proven yet. I'm not the type of person that believes in coincidences. ... ...

white oblong pill scored watson 825
white oblong pill, scored on one side, watson 825 on the other side ## watson 825 on one side, scored on the other side ## This tablet contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 650mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Percocet, which is a narcotic analgesic. This medication has the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You can learn more Percocet details here. Another note that needs to be added here is that as of 2013, the FDA has made a request that all manufacturers lower the amount of Acetaminophen in these combination prescription products to no more than 325mgs per dose. Livalo problems
I have been taking Livalo since March 2013. It is now September 2013, and I am having the following problems from it: 1. General muscle weakness 2. pain in hips, knees, ankles and feet 3. Memory loss/mood changes 4. stomach problems (tightness, gas) for which the doctors can find no other physical cause. These symptoms took a while, after I started taking Livalo, to manifest. But in the last four weeks have showed up like gangbusters. I had told my cardiologist when he prescribed them that statins have always caused me problems and that I had not taken any for 2-3 year because of that. He was insistent that I take it, saying the Livalo didn't cause as many problems as other statins. Well, after being through most of the statins over the last 10 year (and finding problems with all of... ...

Weight Gain from Evamist?
I started Evamist in August 2013 and have gained nine pounds since starting estrogen. My doctor days it isn't the evamist but I'm struggling to believe that. I exercise at least 6 days a week - weight training and spinning classes - and am very careful with my diet. I'm exasperated. I can't keep the weight off. Every week another pound heavier lately. Has anyone had a similar experience? ## Hello, Susan! How are you doing? Sorry about the weight gain issue. Yes, Evamist certainly could be what's caused it, any form of estrogen can do that. Estrogens are the reason many women gain weight, when they enter perimenopause and the first phase of menopause. Once they stop ovulating regularly, they have higher amounts of estrogen in their bodies that is being unopposed by pr... ...

I found out Monday, November 11, 2013 Hi-Tech Pharmacal is now manufacturing Paregoric. There distribution company is ABC distribution and all you have to do is call your pharmacy and see if they can obtain it. I live in TX and was able to get a prescription from my gastroenterologist and picked up the first bottle since 2010! Good luck everyone, no one knows what a miracle drug this is for people like me with Crohn's Disease now short bowel syndrome, also IBS, Colitis, Diverticulitis, etc. ## Hi Cindy, Thanks for taking the time to share this information on the availability of Paregoric. While I personally haven't tried it, Paregoric is supposed to be great at relieving diarrhea and GI disorders. Apparently it works by decreasing stomach and GI movement during the digestive pro... ...

prolonged premenopausal menstrual bleeding
I am 49 years old .I did not get my period for 4 months and now I got them for over 15 days with no sign of reduction . I have tried sylate 500 mg it has not helped. I am G6PD deficient please advice, I have had 2 D&C done for the same problem.first 1 1/2 years ago and the second in AUG 2013. ## Hello, Nikki! How are you? This happens to some women during perimenopause. Not having your period for 4 months allowed the endometrial lining to build too thickly, because your estrogen levels most likely haven't dropped, yet… that's actually what the D&C does, it clears that excess lining out, so the bleeding stops. Have you consulted a doctor, again? You may need another D&C, or you may need to add progesterone back to your body to get this under control. ## thanks a... ...

Jadelle implant removal
Had the Jadelle implant inserted late july 2013. First week, no spotting but had really bad headaches and nausea. Week 2, I started spotting lightly. Then it got worse. Would start spotting n have heavy bleeding every time I had intercourse with my husband. Had the implant removed today. Phew! My upper arm is quite itchy, around the area of the incision. Other than that, looking forward to making a full recovery n some medical exams around the pelvic area to make sure all is A OK. Wouldn't recommen Jadelle to anyone ## Wow! I'm very sorry about the bad experience you had with it. Though you've had it removed, it could take a few months for your body to rebalance your hormones on its own. So, you may still experience some menstrual irregularities for awhile. Have you ever jus... ...

Stopped taking Lo Loestrin Fe
Well, I was on this pill since May 1st, 2013 (had only 2 periods) and stopped taking it November 9th cause we are trying to have a baby. Actually we were planning to have our baby by the next summer (late August or September). Reading all these things about Lo loestrin fe made me so sad and disappointed, should we really wait more months to become pregnant? Is there any exceptions among you? Please if you have any hopeful comment, I would highly appreciate it! ## Hello, Nikky! How are you? Generally, when stopping an oral contraceptive, such as this, that suppresses ovulation, it can take 2 or 3 months, before your body rebalances your hormones naturally and you actually ovulate, again. It may happen sooner, but there's no way to know for sure, it can vary from woman to woman. Have ... ...

clindamycin and anti-inflammatory medication
I had a gum OP mid-November 2013 and was given Clindamycin 300mg for 5 days and anti-inflammatory tablets. My tongue turned black but no more symptoms. 16.12. 13 I had the next gum OP and was given the same medication. I had slight stomach problems on the 5th day and when I the course was finished, on the 6th day hell broke lose: diarrhea, stomach cramps, I felt very low in energy, slept a lot. On the 24.12.13 I went to the pharmacist and was told that I should haven taken a stomach protector as Clindamycin 300 mg is a very strong doses, especially in connection with anti-inflammatory medication. The dentist says that protector was not necessary as I had no previous stomach or intestine problems. End-January when the protectors given to me by the pharmacist did not really work, I went to s ...
