I am BP patient since 10 years-was taking AmlopressAT 25, BP started rising and was not getting down by NIcardia 90 mg/ day + Moxawas .9mg / day. Was remaining 150/96 even after 3+3 above drug / day. After starting / adding Nebicard 5mg it drametically decrwsed up to 180 / 85 within 7 days. My creatinine is 2.5 . Is it safe to take Nebicard for long time? will it further damage my Kidney??Pl advise.

My doctor spoke against the Antenolol drug but has specified Nebicard 5mg as an option. Both are beta blockers, but which one will have the least side effects? ## Atenolol is an old drug but the only bet blocker I can tolerate. I don't have edema in my feet anymore and I have more energy and less depression than with anything else. It also does the job for me just as well as any other drug. I take 50 mg twice a day along with a diuretic and my pressure is usually in the 120s or 80s even being over 100 lbs overweight. ## bhushan, since they are both in the same drug class, they both pretty much carry the same side effect risks, such as nausea, headache, dizziness and stomach pain. nebicard sm for High BP is prescribe to me by my doctor. I was using Betablock but it was giving cough. Seeking remedial advice regarding Nebicard 5mg for high bp at 220/128 along with Ecosprin 500mg taken once daily at night. ## Ecosprin will not help lower your blood pressure, it is just used as blood thinner and for heart health, according to NIH reports. Hi i am 63. I did bypass surgery on 22/08/2012. After surgery Dr. advised clopitap 75/75, nebicard 2.5, storvas 40mg. Now i have severe muscle pain in my back near hip, foot is burning more and I can't sit for more than 20 minutes. Hi, I am 33 and on Nebicard 5 for the last 2 months due to high BP. I am also a chronic patient of prosiaris which was absolutely under control until I started Nebicard. Now my psoriasis has agrevated acutely and the patches are insanely all over my body. My mental trauma is killing me and I am slipping into a depression. Need your advice urgently.
