At the suggestion of a hotel doctor I bought Azitromicina 500mg for the treatment of a chest infection in MX. Tried to submit a claim for the cost via my US insurance as they say they reimburse worldwide RX expenses. But now they want the 11 digit 'national drug code' or no payout. I checked the FDA NDC database but: 1. it states all NDC's are 10 digit and: 2. obviously this is not a US product and therefore not in there. How can I find what I need to get my costs back? It is Zertalin Azitromicina 500mg (Collins Farmaceuticos) 6 tablets in a white jar with silver/black/blue label. The pharmacist 'said' it was a 2 course pack for 3 days I.E. 1 tablet per day for 3 days (2 courses contained). Is this correct also? I usually have known ZPak or Azithromycin to be 2 on th...

Are there any warnings or adverse effects from this China-manufactured generic drug? I'm fearful of taking it; and was unable to convince my pharmacy to pursue or supply a U.S. manufactured drug. ## Regardless of where it is manufactured, any given medication must meet the same safety and efficacy standards, in order for the FDA to approve of it being supplied and made available in the U.S. The typical side effects of this medication are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension, the same as the others available. Is there anything else I can help with?

This is the Ndc # for Watson's Metronidazole. Is this drug still good? It's 250mg and it expired in 2015. ## If it is in a bottle as dispensed by your pharmacy, and not the original sealed manufacturers container, then the expiration would have been in 2016. It does not become dangerous after it expires, but it does begin to lose efficacy, thus the best thing to do would be to dispose of it and see your doctor for a new prescription. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have a National License as a Medical Insurance Specialist. However my treatment with flagyl was very satisfying. I have recommended this drug to other people and Physicians. Today, I would like to request samples of the medication. Are samples available through you distributor? ## this site is not a drug distributor, this site doesn't buy, sell, or refer. We are simply a website that helps people find information on prescription meds or pill ids when they can't find the information on their own. I would recommend contacting the manufacturer or their drug rep.

It has a National Drug Code of 0603 4998 21. What percocet is this? Pictures plz. ## Hello, Gata! How are you? According to the NDC database, that is the 5/325 dosage manufactured by the former Vintage Pharmaceuticals. I apologize that I don't have a picture to post for you. However, they describe it as being a pink, elliptical/oval pill with a stylized V on one side and the numbers 4825 on the other side. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am searching for a comparible drug to the Oxycodone? Due to national shortage I cannot get the Oxycodone. But I need something to replace it without Tylenol. ## I'm not sure how comparable these two drugs are to Oxycodone, as I have never taken them. But to help answer your question, Dilaudid (hydromorphone) as well as Demerol (meperidine) are also narcotic pain relievers used to treat moderate to severe pain. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Dilaudid Details and Demerol (meperidine) Details Maybe you could ask your doctor about either of these options as potential candidates for replacing Oxycodone. Hope this helps! ## There are other options, but it may be difficult to locate any of them in stock in a pharmacy. However, a couple you can discuss with your doctor...

Does PILVA 648 contain Gluten or (Wheat) ? ## Hi vickiej, According to The US National Library of Medicine, Pliva 648 capsules (Fluoxetine 20 mg / NDC 50111-648) reportedly contain the following inactive ingredients: ammonia d&c yellow no. 10 fd&c blue no. 1 gelatin magnesium stearate starch corn propylene glycol shellac titanium dioxide aluminum oxide hypromellose 2910 (3 mpa.s) hypromellose 2910 (6 mpa.s) polyethylene glycol 400 polysorbate 80 Although gluten/wheat aren't specifically listed here, I do believe that certain substances such as "corn" or "starch" may either contain or be derived from gluten. I need to weigh 144 before I can sign those papers. Although I'm not completely familiar with a specific type of weight-gaining drug, there are options out there that can help stimulate your appetite significantly, such as cannabis. However, some people are just naturally skinny due to their genetic makeup and metabolism, so it's possible that simply increasing your caloric intake ...

Has anyone heard of such a high dose being prescribed ?? ## Hi Bry, According to the US National Library of Medicine, the maximum recommended daily dose of Vyvanse is 70 mg. They go on to state that "doses greater than 70 mg/day of Vyvanse have not been studied." Ref: dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/lookup.cfm?setid-fed5402283f6#nlm34068-7 With that being said, it sounds like her doctor is either over prescribing or she's over using the amount he did prescribe. This has potential to be habit forming and very addicting, so I'd continue to keep an eye on her if you feel like she's digging herself into a deeper hole. How long has she been taking Vyvanse for? ## Vyvance, a prodrug usually seen as a long acting capsule or time realease patch is absorbed over a period of any...
