Naproxen Side Affects

Is Naproxen Sodium550 MG every 12 hours as needed a narcotic? Is it ok to drive while taking this med? ## Hello, Cookie! How are you? It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its typical side effects, as listed by the FDA, may include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Thus, it would be best to see how it affects you, before driving while on it. Is there anything else I can help with?

I took a 500 mg Naproxen yesterday, it took a second to kick in. I was having a real bad headache and a friend gave me one. When I got to work I started feeling really relaxed and dizzy. It was like my body felt like putty or I had no bones in my body. Is it suppose to make me feel this way? True enough the headache was gone and I felt like a totally different person but I didn't like the side affects it caused. ## My doctor recommended to start with two 220 mg. pills for arthritis - which would only be 440 mgs and then follow with only one within the time allotted according to the bottle. He told us not to take more than the 440 mg. EVER so it sounds like you possibly took too much and one at 220 mg would have been better for a headache, unless it was a migraine, then you'd tak...

There is a difference. Dependence is when you have to have them to function, due to a medical condition and your body has become used to having them. Addiction occurs when you abuse drugs, because you like the way they make you feel, so you keep taking more and more of them. And as to the possible long-term effects, most medications are processed through the liver, so there is some risk of developing liver damage. The Naproxen may also caused f...

I have a white pill with 500 on one side and IP 190 on the other side, does this pill have Hydrocodone in it? If so, what dosage? ## No, there is no Hydrocodone in this tablet, nor does it contain any other narcotics. This tablet contains 500mgs of Naproxen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling (NDC 65162-190). Inactive Ingredients: - Croscarmellose Sodium - Povidones - Magnesium Stearate Ref: DailyMed ## Naproxen and tramadol, are they the same thing? ## Absolutely not. ## how many can i take before it affects me in a bad way? ## Pills are a lot like alcohol in the sense that its a slow & PROGRESSIVE toll it WILL take on your body, more specifically your liver. And everyone's tolerance is different. The more u take the MOR...
