What are naproxen pills made with? ## Hello, Reba! How are you? Naproxen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. If you wish to know the inactive ingredients, I need more details, such as who the manufacturer is, or what the markings are on the tablets. Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you! ## I think she means what is it made of, in the way that we know aspirin comes from willow tree bark. Where does naproxen come from, how or where did we find it. Ibuprofen has cellulose and corn starch as its parents, what is naproxen's lineage?

Is Naproxen Sodium by Amneal gluten free? ## Hi Susan - I think so. Can you please list exactly which variation you have? How many mg is your tablet? And can you list either the NDC code or the markings on your tablets? I see about a dozen variations of Naproxen from Amneal under various NDC codes. For instance, a white 250 mg tablet with markings IP188 on one side and 250 on the other lists the following inactive ingredients: (NDC 53746-188) - Croscarmellose Sodium - Povidone - Magnesium Stearate But that may not line up with the exact tablet which you have, so if you could please respond with more details? ## Is Naproxen 250mg tablet from Amneal gluten free? I've seen Naproxen and have been told Vicodin has this imprint as well. Are Naproxen and Vicodin the same? ## Naproxen and Vicodin are two very different pain medications. To my understanding, the similarities found in the imprint are just a sign that they had been manufactured or redistributed by the same company (Amneal Pharmaceuticals). The IP 190 500 tablet contains Naproxen 500mg (NDC 65162-0190); a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Ref: DailyMed The IP 109 tablet contains Vicodin (Acetaminophen 325mg + Hydrocodone 5mg); which is a combination of two types of pain medicine - Hydrocodone being an opiate narcotic pain reliever. (NDC 53746-109): Ref: DailyMed Hope this helps! ## You are probably confused because the markings are similar. Generic Norco 5/325mg (Hydrocodone/a...

multi colored capsule with L 5 marking, the 'L' side is red , the '5' side is sky blue, the center is grey ## I have two pills with the following number ID on them: G 32 and M 357. They are both pain pills I think. Can you identify them for me? ## The L5 from the orignal post is a generic or store brand of Tylenol Rapid Release containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen, a commonly used pain reliever and fever reducer. Gp46 are there any other markings on the G32 and what color is it? If it is an off-white or pinkish, it more than likely contains Naproxen Sodium, a generic for Naprosyn, but the dosage depends on the other numbers on the tablet, as they denote the milligrams it contains. M 357 contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, this is a generic for Vicodi...

What kind of pill is this? Thanks. ## Lot numbers are internal numbers that are used by manufacturers to identify specific production runs of their products. In light of that, they do not actually identify any product or medication, because the some number could be used by several other companies. Thus, to identify one of their products, packaging, lot number, expiration and sometimes other details are required. Are there any markings on the tablets? That is what would enable us to identify them for you. ## Found light blue oval pill has the number L 368 on it what u think it might be ## L 368 is a naproxen 220mg (Nsaids) prescription pill ## What is an oval blue pill with 8987 on it, other side blank?

A dark blue oval shape pain pill ## Are there any markings on it? That is what would enable it to be identified. If there are no markings, it is most likely something that's available over the counter and, if that is the case, then the most commonly available oval, blue tablet would be a generic or store brand of Aleve that contains Naproxen. I found this half blue pill oval looks like a can only it says is 8 6 ## @jtv, I'm not sure I fully understand what you mean about it "looking like a can"? If it's half an oval pill, how do you consider this to be so? A 12.00 mm light blue oval (220mg) Naproxen sodium tablet with "L368" on one side and blank on the other, sounds like a close prospect (whereas if it were cut in half you'd see '68' or '89'). The main problem with having half a pill is that the other markings are the only thing that can narrow it down to something specific. So finding an accurate match could be anyone's best guess…especially without a photograph to go off of… If it's very important to you though, something you may want to look into is having t...
