Filled at pharmacy on May 27, 2011. Are these still good to use for bursitis? ## Hi Maggie, Based on my research, you shouldn't take expired prescriptions. There is a reason that there is an expiration date on them. Not only do they LOSE most, if not all potency, the expired pills could surely affect your liver in a toxic way. Can a Ciprofloxacin HCL 500mg tablet be taken with Naproxen EC 500mg? ## Hello, Bridget! How are you? And no, these two should not be taken together, unless your doctor has specifically told you it's safe for you to do so. Combining the Naproxen with the antibiotic can increase the risk of seizures, though it isn't known why they have this interaction. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Well, he did take the two, but not at the same time. This was done for like 5 days. He was in tremendous pain with his ears and tylenol did not touch the pain. The doctor recommended the tylenol. Would something like Advil been better? He is ok. No seizures. Thank you.
