In 1983 I had a severe allergic reaction to Zomax -- was advised to never take Naprosyn Sodium since they are chemically related. Cannot find this currently listed with N.S. Still true ?? ## They are both nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications and in most cases an allergy to one equates an allergy to another. what does Naprosyn look like? Large White/Tan pill? ## I have been prescribed Naproxen Sodium 550mg Tab ITP. My pill is an oblong, blue tablet with the markings "IP" & "194" on one side. Is this the correct tablet, because I'm reading different descriptions and they are always saying the tablet is white or tan???? Help!!! light blue round pill w p 434 on it ## This is the prescription strength (220 mg) of naproxen sodium or naprosyn. It is known over the counter as Aleve. It can cause stomach upset and other GI problems, especially if taken without food. It is a non-narcotic, non-steroidal or (NSAID), non-immflamatory agent.

E4416 ## The tablet with the E 4416 marking is not a Naprosyn tablet. This tablet actually contains 500mgs of Metformin, which is an oral antidiabetic medication that's used to help lower and control blood sugar levels. Based on your post of "Naperson" I think you might mean Naprosyn (anti inflammatory pain killer) ? But to be 100% sure can you please post as many other details about it as possible ? Medication for arthritis ## I have arthritis in my hands, knees and hips. I'm in pain most of the time when standing or walking. At other times I'm in pain even while sitting or lying in bed. At the present time I'm taking Voltarin twice a day. This helps some. I'm wondering if Napricine might give me more relief. ## DId you mean Naprosyn?
