Well once again I've been duped because Walmart wants to buy the cheapest non-effective brands possible for people who actually have pain. These RP brand generic percocets are absolutely useless but as long as the maker and the distributor are making money that's all that matters...... Has anyone else had a similar experience with these? ## I have been taking the RP brand and something is very wrong. They are coming out in my stools in a perfectly round pill shape, that is somewhat like a soft plastic. I'm contacting the Fda and the company and pharmacy. ## Is a small white round pill marked with RP 5, a regular release percocet or is it oxycontin? Please let me know. ## My pharmacy switched and the new RP doesn't work for me. I'm in Niagara Falls NY. Please help. Ri...

It was very interesting to read all of the complaints about the different brands of percoset and their effectiveness. Watson was the only brand that helped me. It was a sad day when Actavis took them over and stopped producing their percoset. I even called the company and complained. I have the same issue with Fentanyl patch brands. I'm so happy to see I'm not alone! ## Hello, Marie! How are you? There are two name brand Percocet tablets currently available, both listed by the FDA as being in the 5/325mg dosage. One is a round, white tablet with the word PERCOCET on one side and DuPont on the opposite. The other is a round, white tablet that has the marking PERCOCET 5 the front. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit formi...

Can't find name brand percocet 7.5mg/325mg? My prescription says to dispense as written. Where can I get it filled? ## Nikki, What part of the country are you in? I am in Colorado. I'd get the yellow pages and start calling. ## Hello, Nikki! How are you? You will not get an accurate answer by calling pharmacies. They have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate customer with a need, or a potential thief, so they will just tell you that they do not carry it. You will actually need to physically go into the pharmacies, with the prescription in hand, in order to get an accurate answer. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there ...

Generic Percocet is weak, and having trouble finding brand, I'm a BK amputee. Over 20 yrs with severe nerve bundles on and off meds depending on my situation. Only prescribed 60 10mg/ 325 a month and not a day sooner. I understand the need to not to be over medicated very well. I am now left in pain often since there are days where only taking two pills daily is ridiculous. In my line of work I stand for 3+ hrs. at a time. I have had Percocet 30 mg w/ no APAP . Which I harder find and tougher to get prescribed, we are talking about quality of life and staying in the work force so I can pay my healthcare in the first place. Generics leave me taking more pills a day with worse results which damages liver no matter the amount. And Brand Percocet is not covered by co-pay. Do I find a Dr...

I have been taking this for a few months , just got increased from 7.5 / 325 the first two months was great they were white oblong with the imprint 10 / 325 on it ! I got filled last week and its yellow oblong with 4829 on it with a squiggly line on the other side and it does nothing at all , very frustrated , they say they have the same ingredients, I argued with the pharmacy , unless you take it , you don't understand how important it is to get the quality ones. If I ask the doctor to write brand name only what should it look like , or should I just ask to see them before I fill ? The pharmacist told me i could , but it doesn't look good ! At this point I don't care how it looks I am the one suffering !!! Any suggestions ## Hi, it is possible for you to split the pills wit...

I am looking for Watson 10/325 Percocet and they no longer make them. What about Mylan brand? Has anyone had those- also Amneal is another generic. Help!!! ## My wife takes the 10/325 and has preferred the Watson also. Mylan worked well for her but we can't find anyone near us that carries Mylan. Who are you getting them from? ## I haven't had any personal experience with this med, but after seeing all the complaints against Actavis I think any other brand would be worth looking into. Endo Pharmaceuticals also makes Percocet. I'd just be mindful of the inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that they put into those tablets, because you never know if something in there could be effecting its potency/bioavailability from the point of absorption. From what I've read, Endo u...

I have been on Percocet 10/325 for over 11 years. Recently changed insurance company. They will not pay for Brand. I get horrible nausea and cramping and questionable results from generic . What are fillers in best generic replacements. It is the fillers my Drs. say I am allergic to. Not the fillers in Percocet brand ## It sounds like you may need to use a compound pharmacy then. I believe Walgreen's has some. ## Thanks for response. If Insurance wïll not pay for brand then I doubt they will pay for a special compound pharmacy . My pharmacy is a compounding pharmacy. the cost for me to pay for this on my own is totally cost prohibitive. ## Greg, If your Doctor writes medically necessary on your prescription, your insurance has to cover brand name by law. Please ask your Doctor ...

I recently re-filled my pain management prescripton for "Percocet 10/325MG and they look totaly different from my usual "Name Brand Percoset's" Why do they look different and what should they look like? ## The name brand Percocet in that dosage is an oblong, yellow tablet with the word Percocet on one side and 10-325 on the other. As to why yours look different, it is highly possible that you received a generic this time. There are many of them on the market and how they look and what the markings are will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Some of the imprints and descriptions include: WATSON 932, round, white IP 204, oval, white M532 10/325, oblong, white 106, round, white And this is not a comprehensive list, it's just a couple of examples. are watson perks stronger than endo perks ## Hello, Technically the strength of the pills should be the same so long as the dosage of the medication remains the same, however, there are some factors that come into play when talking about how each pill will react with you. Does the pill have a slow release coating? If so it will take effect at a slower rate but lasts longer and the effects will be much weaker. You also have to take into consideration the inactive ingredients in a pill which will also affect how your body reacts to the medication. There is also a lot of mental limitations here, sometimes people get so wrapped up into the idea that the medication they are currently taking is superior and when they do take another brand their thoughts can have a physical impact. It is alway...

Can anyone tell me how well Purdue 10 mg percocet works? I currently take Mallinkrodt in the 525s because my pharmacy can’t get any other brand in a higher dose. Was prescribed 725’s and my pharmacy stsrted giving me Amneal. I knew that something was not right because they not only made me sick (nauseous and headache), they were not effective. Mallinkrodt work good for me, but would like to take less pills as I have to get the 525’s and cut them in half. I may need to jump to the 10 mg, but my pharmacy can only get Purdue. I can’t find any info on how well they work. What is the most effective 725s and 10s??

On white round pills it says ml line 152 on the pill bottle label it reads oxycodone/acetaminophen what type of pill is it ## Hello, Sam! How are you? The tablets with the MLX 152 marking contain 500mgs of Acetaminophen, this is available over the counter and is a generic or store brand of Extra Strength Tylenol. Percocet would contain Oxycodone with the Acetaminophen, which this does not. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
