I slowly lose my sanity and start to hear voices that really aren't there and confusion. I'm scared! As I'm slowly loosing reality, I find out they have changed 1 or 2 of them to the Sandoz manufacturer. As of now, since it contains the Pseudoephedrine, it is only available by requesting it at the pharmacy counter, where you have to sign for it and show ID to prove you are over 18. Can I take these for a sore throat infection and if so how many tablets per day? ## Well, since what you typed doesn't actually stand for anything, I believe you've confused it, I'm assuming what you're referring to is Penicillin V with Potassium? If so, it is an antibiotic used to treat various types of infections. However, the length of treatment and dosing depends on the type and severity of infection being treated and this site is not medical professionals to make a guess at that. Not all sore throats are caused by infections and using these if it isn't creates problems. Have you seen a doctor for this? ## Pota-Vi-Kin (active ingredient Penicillin V) is used to treat mild to moderately severe infections due to penicillin G-sensitive microorganisms.

Walgreens in Georgia orders 100 capsules for me every three months. Must be careful with this Rx, however it works better than anything available for insomnia. It is definitely available. Most younger pharmacists have never heard of it and the older pharmacists know it but "haven't had a script in 30 years for Seconal". The new company that purchased rights to produce Seconal (Valliant) has been under fire for hiking the price to sometimes over 4000.00/100 capsules in this EIGHTY year old drug. This is insane. It is used in Oregon and California for assisted suicide and apparently works very well. Regardless, for an insomniac, nothing works better than carefully used Seconal.
