Total months allowed before written prescription is filled
I have a written prescription from my primary doctor dated 11/20/10 for Hydrocodone. What is the last date it can be filled by a pharmacist? ## Hydrocodone is a narcotic pain reliever and, therefore, a controlled substance, so most pharmacies will not fill it this long past the date it was written. You can ask, because some pharmacy policies vary, but the chance of getting anyone to do so, without approval from your doctor is highly unlikely. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Learn more: Are there any other comments or questions? ## A prescription of this type (a schedule III controlled substance) is good for 6 months also it only is refillable 5 times not counting the original fill. ...

Is It Safe To Switch to 81 Mg Aspirin After Years Of Being On 325
Is it safe for doctor put me on 81 mg aspirin after being on 325 mg daily for over 20 years? No bad effects prompted this-just his decision. I have history of hypertension; diabtes, mild congestive heart failure, high tryglycerides low HDl cholesterol & overall cholesterol of 180.I am 6ft and weigh 290 used to play h.s. football. I am in mid 60's ## Hi Lou, I can't really even say taking aspirin is safe in the long term, no matter the dosage. All of the ailments you have and may still be dealing with can be treated just by a change in lifestyle. Have you ever heard of the raw/vegan lifestyle? Juicing fresh fruits and vegetables (including the entire cannabis plant- which is now being regarded as a vegetable) can have immense healing effects on the entire body, there are peop... ...

albendazole/need to know what it is as doesn't fit description
supposed to be sunset yellow..are big oblong with rounded edges, light peach in color. no markings except a place to break them. came in silver punch individual packaging all placed in a baggy. says manufactured by specturm, a division of biochem from india. No other markings on them. ## Hi Jeannie, The only conclusion I can come to in regards to the difference in color, is that the manufacturer used different inactive ingredients as opposed to other manufacturers of Albendazole. Can progynova be taken with AKT3+Does it lead to ovarian cysts
Hi, i had been diagnosed with endometrial TB and started a dose of AKT 4 for 2 months and AKT 3 for 6 months. I had also been prescribed progynova 2 mg twice a day from Day 1 to Day 26 and Duphaston from Day 16 to Day 25. I have been having these medications along with the TB medication. Last month i developed an ovarian cyst which was fairly large and ruptured yesterday causing tremendous pain. I stopped taking progynova and duphaston when the cyst was detected, My question is whether progynova and duphaston should be taken while on TB medication, or is it contra indicated. Also, is the cyst forming due to progynova dosage? ## Actually, the Progynova might be the cause, since it contains a form of estrogen and usually the formation of such cysts are due to elevated levels of it. Why ar... ...

Can there be different sizes of citalopram pill for same dose?
I just had to switch generic brands for my citalopram. I take 10mg; but this pill looks bigger than my old pill. Whereas the old one said .5 (or something to that effect), this one only has a "c" on one side. Is this really only 10mg? ## Based on my research, the pill you are describing is in fact Citalopram hydrobromide 10 mg. For verification, the size is: 6.00 mm Manufacturer: Caraco Pharmaceutical Laboratories National Drug Code (NDC): 57664-0507 From what I understand, it's not just the Citalopram taking up "real estate" in your pill. It's also filled with inactive ingredients (binders and fillers), "such as": corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, and other things of that nature. Having... ...

is it okay to take expired cyclobenzaprine 10mg dated 12 2012
Is it okay to take expired cyclobenzaprine 10mg dated 12/2012? ## Hello, Stephanie! How are you? This is a muscle relaxant and it doesn't get dangerous, once expired, but it does begin to lose effectiveness, so it's most likely that it just isn't going to do anything to help. It would be best to get a new prescription. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

Doxycycl Hycl 100mg Blue Pill Does It Cause A Side Affect Pain In The Kidneys And What To Do
I am getting pain in my kidneys and heartburn taking the pill , dox-cyl hycl 100mg blue pill. Is that a common side affect and what should I drink or eat to take the pain away? ## Are you taking it on an empty stomach? It may help to take it with a light meal, but milk should be avoided, because it can decrease how much of the medication is absorbed. The same problem can arise if you try it with a calcium based antacid, so you'd have to be careful what you take if you try that. You can learn more Doxycycline details here. The best thing to do would be contact your doctor and ask their advice, to see what is safe for you to use to alleviate the problem. As to the kidney pain, have you had diarrhea while taking this? If so, that may be due to some dehydration, so you may need to incre... ...

I have been on Epitec for a few months now for Bipolar II. I find it works well to stabalise my mood but I suffer from tremours. I drop things all the time and when I do something like cutting out paper I shake. I never had this problem before I started on Epitec. Could this be a side affect? ## Hi Louisa, I am not sure if Epitec can cause tremours but I can share my experience as I also had severe tremours so bad that I couldn't write or even hold my cell to my ear. I was on Convulex at the time and when I stopped that meds in about a week the tremours disapeared. I think best you see your specialist as it made my life much better. strongs. ...
