I am suffering from cellulitis following a hip operation in December. The ulcer/sore is in the back of my leg near the shin bone, making it difficult for me to see or treat. have I spent 9 days in hospital in January on an Intravenous drip, which ruled out DVT & have taken 2 lots of antibiotics but the problem is still with me, So can you suggest what I do next, it is so sore & painful. ## What else has your doctor recommended for further treatment options? I am 65 year old. I am having severe problems with dry cough. It comes once in every year. It lasts for 2 months. Red Capsule has Ranbaxy printed on it, but package says AMX-500 and Amoxicillin Caosules IP ## Ranbaxy is actually just the name of the manufacturer, the name of the antibiotic medication is Amoxicillin. the bottle states disguard after 01/04/14...that is 1 month 1 day past. is it still safe to take? I was prescribed 10 Clacee 500 (2 per day) for my sever sinusitis and chest infection. After taking just one I have experienced nausea (as indicated on the pamphlet) however I am more concerned about the left arm and leg pains experienced after taking this anti-biotic each time. Has anyone else experienced the left arm & leg pains, too? ## what can i eat before and after taking this medication? it says no milk,antiacids & vitamins must be taken.i feel very shaky after taking this tablet.

I have a painful toothache. The dentist office is closed on Sunday. I have 1 ciprofloxacin 500 mg and cephalexin 500 mg. I don't know if they are okay to take for my toothache. ## Those are both antibiotics, used to treat various types of infections, so they may help, but it will not be enough to completely get rid of the infection and they will not treat pain. I have left over cephalexin 500mg from 5/21/15. It expired 5/17/16 and I really would like to know if I can still take them? ## They do not become dangerous, once expired, but they do start to lose effectiveness so they may not work as well to eradicate infectious bacteria. You also may not have enough to take a full course of treatment to kill the relevant bacteria. Thus, it would be best to dispose of them and see your doctor for a new supply.
