What is the best route of administration to get the most effects? ## This tablet contains 30mgs of Dexmethylphenidate, the active ingredient in Focalin, which is most commonly used to treat ADHD. The best route of administration is to take the tablets, by swallowing them orally, just as they are prescribed. It is not safe to try to use them in any other manner, because they are not formulated to be used that way, so it could result in overdose, or other health complications. Are there any other comments or questions?

Serious spine issues. Too many to list, multiple sugeries, multiple needed surgeries and failed surgeries. My doc prescribes 30mg of oxicodone/roxi whatever. My pills have always been blue. This time, my insurance company decided I was taking too much, lowered my dose and gave me some white NP 15 generic brand equal to 30mg. Load of crap. They do not help with the pain AT ALL. I tried taking 3 at one time. No relief. I feel it's a plecebo. I'm sweating, in pain, and no one gives a rats ass. This medicine allows me to work. I can not afford to live on disability. WTF - stop screwing with healthcare! If you can switch your pain meds, at this point, go with vicodin or something that works other then the new fake 30mg of oxi/roxicodone. ## Your insurance company cannot change your p...

They may have an idea of something that could help, or perhaps you might need to switch to a different medication. Is anyone else experiencing this?

for the last two months 2 different pharmacies gave me some new all orange capsule, supposedly a new generic adderall xr 30 mg. these make me fall asleep and i do not feel the same as the amphetamine salt combo i have been on for three years now. anyone else having the same experience? ## Hi Shaun, When you switch brand names or manufacturers, the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. For this very reason, I believe the differences and side effects you are feeling have a lot to do with certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand. I'm frustratingly surprised that doctor's and pharmacists don't mention this to their patients, after giving them a completely different script without prior ...

please share your experience with this never seen before, less effective drug that two different pharmacy's have given to me in last two months. they make me fall asleep! ## Hi shaun, When you switch brand names or manufacturers, the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. Certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand, are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. Because everyone is different, your body may respond favorably with one medication and not the other (even if they're both Adderall Xr), due to how you feel or based on whatever side effects present themselves. Although I haven't taken this medication, I can say that they probably have an array of...

When I went to the Dr's today, I was told by the receptionist that the 30 mg Roxicodone that I have been prescribed (for a couple of years) has become very popular on the streets, and known by it's blue color so well that the pill is going to be reformulated and changed in color to white in the hope that it will not be as attractive to addicts. Does anyone know whether or not the 30 mg pill will actually be reformulated or will the color just be changed? I have been so sensitive in the past to certain generics not being the same as the brand, and now I'm worried about the brand having some new formulation that I would react to negatively. I would appreciate any clarification about this issue. ## Well since you do not state the manufacturer, there is no way I can find out suc...

I have been taking Nifedipibe ER 30mg since March 2016. My doctor increased my dosage up to 60mg Nifedipine starting 10/20/2016. How long does it take my body to adjust to the higher dosage and should I expect any side effects? ## Hello, Melinda! How are you? Yes, side effects will typically occur any time your dosage is raised, and the FDA lists them as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. It usually takes about 4 to 5 weeks for your body to adjust. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you Verwon, it seems that I'm experiencing a couple of the side effects, headache and increased urination, my BP readings are somewhat bouncing around, I'm really hoping they will stabilize very soon.
