i am taking myrin p-forte for nearly two months now. starting last Aug. 3, 2013. After taking it for 3 days, I begun to feel the side effects such as dizziness, blurry vision, loss of appetite and I feel so weak that I have to go back to bed right after i eat. This goes on for several weeks. After a month, I began to feel better, i can now go back to my normal life but the dizziness never goes away accompanied by blurry vision. hdshdh ## Myrin P Forte contains 275mgs of Ethambutol, 150mgs of Rifampin, 75mgs of INH and 400mgs of Pyrazinamide, it is an antituberculosis medication. The most common side effects include: nausea, drowsiness, fever and gastro-intestinal disturbances. Im on my pre-medical requirement on the company I applied,so when they examined me,they have found spot on my lungs,then the pulmo askd me to undergo examinaxon,so i undrwent sputom test, when I got the result it was negavine "0" findings, but seems like the pulmo didnt consider the sputum test so she told me to undergo medication wch is I have to take myrin p forte for 4weeks. my son age of 17 felt fever and coughing i brought him to a doctor,he took a chest X ray and diagnosed Tb and prescribe 4 tab. To ease/lessen the side effects of myrin p forte like nausea and vomiting, take it with warm water. After breakfast, don't take in any liquid immediately. Wait for at least 30 mins. Avoid coffee in the meantime and carbonated drinks. These will add to your gastro-intestinal disturbances. Eating an apple and crackers could also help. ## My father were diagnosed with pulmonary TB and started on myrin p forte but they have nausea and vomiting and slight headache ....this is not okay right??

It is not yet confirmed that i have a TB but my doctor prescribed me this medicine.. i just want to know if it is fine to take myrin p forte even if i'm diabetic? i am currently taking this medicine 4 days now and i am experiencing stomach ache, vomiting and itchiness.. i also don't feel well.. i hope there is someone who can answer my questions.. thanks and God bless. ## Those can be normal side effects of this medication, according to NIH reports, you may also experience diarrhea, and headache. is rheumatism/gout a side effect of myrin p forte? My mother had swelling in her knees and hands after taking the medicine for two weeks. ## Has a doctor diagnosed her condition as gout? This medication contains Ethambutol, Rifampicin and Pyrazinamide, it is used to treat Tuberculosis. They don't cause gout themselves, however if someone already has an active case of it, they will make it worse. So, if that's what it is, it's likely that she already had it and the medication aggravated the condition.

Myrin P Forte Can Be Taken With milk? ## Myrin-P Forte contains Ethambutol, Rifampicin, INH and Pyrazinamide, it is used to treat TB. To be most effective, it should be taken on an empty stomach, 1 hour before, or 2 hours after meals and, generally, that would mean taking it with only water. Milk can coat the stomach and affect the absorption of some medications. If it irritates your stomach, you can take it with antacids.
