pink capsule ## This is generic 65mg propoxyphene. The brand name is Darvon-N or Darvon-R depending on which one you have. It is a narcotic used for moderate to severe pain. It can cause euphoria, constipation, dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision and has a potential to be addictive. ## I'd like to add some updated information… As of 2007, Propoxyphene and its relatives have all been removed from the market in the U.S., Canada and most other countries due to the extreme risk they caused of cardiac dangers, as well as an inordinate number of overdose deaths. You can learn more Darvocet details here. Are there any questions or comments?

green capsule mylan 147 ## please tell me what this pill is and what it does thank you ## This is Indomethacin 50mg, a generic for Indocin. This is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. ## What is Mylan 125? Should my 9yr old be taking this? She takes half a pill. Is this something she needs to take everyday or just here and there?

White Pill with mylan 244 on it ## new color pill from v.a. color is blue (oval)for mylan 244-verapamil 120 mg. not white as stated on your description. My blue pillis imprinted as above. ## I have been on lisinopril 10mg for years, using whichever generic was given at pharmacy. Recently they started using Mylan (L24), and I developed what I describe as a feeling like chest pain in solar plexus, or constant anxiety. When I quit taking this it seems to resolve. I wonder if this generic is in some way inferior or contaminated!

Is this immediate release or extended / sustained release? I have migraines and this was prescribed as "3 tablets by mouth at bedtime." But if it is immediate release do I really want to be taking all 360 mg at once? Shouldn't I take 1 pill 3 x per day instead? ## Have you asked your doctor, or pharmacist about this? The tablet you asked about is 120mg regular release tablet, which means it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to start working. That is a little higher than the normal preventative migraine dose, which is usually 240mgs at bedtime. ## I too had migraines. I started on Calan SR 120mg (there were no generics ) about 16 years ago. After a year the migraines came back so my doctor increased the dosage to 240 mg. After three years, my insurance company decided that they wo...

I have a UTI and my doctor prescribed both mylan 3422 and E122, but I'm not sure how it's supposed to work because I have one of the E122 and nine of the mylan 3422 pills. ## They both contain the same active ingredient, which is 100mgs of Nitrofurantoin. NDC codes: 51079-0348, the one with the Mylan marking is distributed by UDL Laboratories, and the one with the E122 is manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals, NDC code: 00185-0122, the original labeler of this one was Eon Labs. When your doctor writes a prescription, and the medication is available as a generic, they actually don't get to dictate to the pharmacy which pills you will receive. It depends on what your pharmacy has in stock, except in cases where a generic isn't available, or if your doctor states that the ...

Are they as effective as activas? ## I just got these for the first time and wish I had known prior to walking out of the pharmacy. I've been taking 30mg oxycodone for almost 6 years and normally take the Qualitest, but after calling around to 12 pharmacy's the only place that had them was Costco. I just assumed that every place carried the little blue pills and to be honest had no idea that these even exsisted, but I also assumed as long as it had 30mg of oxycodone, that I would be ok. I couldnt have been more wrong. These Mylan pills have ZERO effect on my pain and if I didnt know any better I would of thought that all I was really taking was sugar pills. Not only do they not have any pain relieving effect to them, but I cant see a damn thing because they cause my eye sight to...

I just picked up my prescription for my 12 year old son for mylan 6160 and when I got home, I noticed the pills were different than the ones he had been taking. The pharmacy had apparently filled the 6160 labelled bottle with 6180 pills. If I hadn't noticed, what would have been the results for a 12 year old diagnosed last year with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy if he had taken them? Do I have any recourse against my local pharmacy, whom when I called them, calmly said, just bring them in and we'll switch them. I am upset with my local pharmacy! ## You can take action and fill out a complaint, click on the link below... This link is for the state of California. I recieved a refill on my metoprolol succ er 25mg, but this time instead of my usual round mylan I recieved the oval par brand. After taking half (12.5 mg) I felt great for the first few hours, but then after eating rapid heart rate, which is a problemI didn't have with the mylan brand. Has anyone else had their metoprolol switched from mylan to par or vice versa? Did your body ever adjust? Im also just wondering if the par has a shorter half life, it seemed to dissolve as soon as it hit my mouth, that didnt happen with the mylan pills. ## Hello, Sarena! How are you? Are you supposed to be taking just half a tablet? Did you actually check your heart rate, or did it just feel like it was fast? Found some Mylan 810 (12.5 hydrochlorathiazide in my travel bag and am asking what the shelf life is. Last time I traveled was at least 5 years ago. ## They have probably lost quite a bit of potency by now, though they do not get dangerous, once they are past the expiration date. However, they will not be as effective as they were years ago. If they were in a pharmacy dispensed bottle, the expiration date would be one year from the date it was filled, since that's when they are exposed to heat, light and other elements that cause degradation. If they were in a factory sealed bottle, the shelf life is about 3 years, so they still would have expired about 2 years ago. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Is it ok to take mylan 810 capsules if expired in 2016. The cost medication...

How are you? The manufacturer, Mylan Pharmaceuticals, lists this capsule as containing 20mgs of Omeprazole, it is used to help reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach. I take one with my Prozac, with no issues, but it's always best to double check with your doctor to be sure. Hey there, I started taking the dose at night (10 pm)to prevent night sweats and insomnia, which has been working. But I find about 12 hours after taking the dose 10/11 am I become extremely dizzy and nauseated , sensitive to light , headache..... and lasts time about 8 or 9 at night. Then I'm fine the next morning and bang right at 10 or 11 the symtoms happen again. Is this dose to high for me ? Do these symtoms wear off after time? Been on for about 2 weeks..... thanks for your time. ## Hello, Melissa! How are you? If the symptoms are that severe, you should consult your doctor, as this may not be the right medication for you. Did you start off at the 300mg dose, or did you start with a lower one and slowly raise it? Sometimes titrating can help minimize the side effects. Other si...

I am new to fentanyl treatment but no stranger to narcotic treatment for severe sciatica in my left leg. I was prescribed the 12.5mcg and the pharmacy gave me the Mylan 12mcg. My first patch didn't do anything for over 6 hrs. so I put another one on. Took a hot shower, went to bed and woke up the next morning pain free for the first time in a VERY long time. Since I was only given 5 patches to last me 2 weeks, I was wondering how long they really last. I've heard that there's actually enough fentanyl in each patch to last 7 days. Is this really ture?? ## Hello, Dewy5150! How are you? You really shouldn't take a hot shower or be exposed to much heat, while wearing the patch, it tends to make it release faster, which could result in overdose. The FDA classifies this medica...

All our pharmacies here have switched to amneal, which doesn't do a thing except give a headache. The brand does make a difference. The mylan works great. ## Yes, there can be differences in generic medications. Once a medication is available to be made a generic, it is allowed to differ, in the active ingredient, from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20%. The FDA considers this an acceptable therapeutic window. The problem that you can run into, of course, is that generics do not have to measure against each other, just against the name brand. This means that while one generic may be high quality and contain 100mgs of a given medication, another generic may only contain 80mgs and another could contain 120mgs. Not everyone is sensitive to such changes and most people don...

I have been taking Fenofibrate 134mg for almost 7 years now. I have hereditary high Triglycerides. Mine was 633 the first blood test in 2010 and then the second one was 408. Doctor started me on Fenofibrate and my Triglycerides have been at 97 - 200 ever since. Until now. The price for me has been $132 for 90 pills. Then starting this year it went to $90, then $60, and then $12. Took a blood test last week and my Triglycerides are back up to 401 like the pill is no longer working. The brand is Mylan. Did they change the chemical make up or what is going on? ## It is normal for our bodies to get used to any medication we take in a certain dosage for a long period of time, so eventually, we build up a tolerance, and it stops working as well for us.
