Is there anyone out there who is had a good or a bad experience with mine when I was told that my own was a very good generic for the lorazepam 1 mg as opposed to Watson and the worst being Sandos ## Hello, Andy! How are you? I took the one manufactured by Mylan a few years ago and it worked well for me. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with?

My pharmacy told me that they can't buy mylan any more and they do not know if it is discontinued or not. Since Qualitest lorazepam was discontinued, Mylan is the only lorazepam that works (less effective than Qualitest) but works with less side effects than others (Watson, leading pharma, actavis: don't work causing serious side effects). Any alternatives, or another generic lorazepam that works ok? Lorazepam is the only sedative that works for me for anxiety and stiffness due to side effects of levothyroxine. Other medicine such as clonazepam, alprazolam (xanax), cymbalta, zoloft, lexapro, etc do not work. ## I don't know about lorazepam being discontinued but I was told by two representatives the they are discontinuing clonazepam and I'm devastated. Mylan is the only ...

It’s a long story but traveling and needed medication for my anxiety. Have been off Lorazepam for a while but ended up in a situation where I needed to go local for some medication. Ended up with Mylan 2.5mg tabs. They came in a blister pack and seem labeled correctly. Also came in the original Mylan box. All seems okay but being from the US I’m accustomed to seeing the imprint. These have none. Only a score down the middle and white. Needless to say, I’m holding off on taking them. Not looking for a “fix”, looking for medication. First, I didn’t know and can’t find much documentation on Mylab creating a 2.5mg version. At least the website doesn’t mention it. The pack it came in lists the exp date to be in 2020 so it’s not old. The s...

I am very sensitive to fillers and have just learned that "MYLAN" has discontinued it's Lorazepam. I cannot find a brand using the same inactive ingredients as MYLAN, which I tolerate well. Can you tell me who makes Lorazepam as MYLAN did, with Lactose Monohydrate, Microcrystalline Cellulos, Polacrilin Potassium and Sodium Stearyl Fumarate? (PLZ include all that you find as our area has very few pharmacies.) THANK YOU. ## Hello HomeTown Mom, Sorry to hear that the brand that works for you is being discontinued. Hopefully I can give you some viable options based upon the information you have given me. Out of the 100 brands I reserached on the NIH website these are the few that have the exact same active and inactive ingredients as the Mylan brand. Mylan Aphena Proficient Rx L...

I was taking Ranbaxy for almost 3 years and was just fine. No anxiety and no side effects. Then about a month and a half ago I started getting anxiety. Found out CVS changed to Mylan brand. I found I could get one more month's supply of Ranbaxy but at the two mg strength. Was a problem with dosage amount because I had to quarter the tablets. They cut in half nicely but the quartering was always unequal. I read this board and knew to stay away from Mylan, Watson and Santos (sp?) So I called around to the mom and pop pharmacies and found one that carried Excellium. I had read very little about Excellium on the forum but the pharmacist said he had been selling it for 10 years and never had a complaint. Scared to death, I transferred my two remaining refills to this place. I've been...

I used to take Qualitest lorazepam but it was discontinued. I had to switch but Watson / Actavis does not work and causes side effects. Most pharmacies carry Actavis. My local Walgreens carries Sandoz which is similar to Watson. Another local pharmacy carries Mylan or cardinal health. Anyone tried Cardinal health or Mylan lorazepam and worked ok? Where can I get excellium lorazepam 1mg? I called 30 pharmacies in my area but none deal with it. I heard excellium lorazepam works well. ## The main issue here is that this is a potentially addictive substance, according to FDA warnings. Thus, most pharmacies are not going to give you an honest answer, because they don't know if someone calling is a legitimate patient with a need, or a possible drug seeker that might want to rob them. The ...

Been on Sandoz mfr. lorazepam for 10 years; no problems; no need to increase dose. Sandoz stopped mfr. Now, can only get these generic's & Actavis. Having lots of troubles getting results; either nothing or zonked. Anyone else w/any experience which mfr. is closer to Sandoz (since FDA approves up to 2% differences in generics). Thank you. ## Hello! I have been getting 90 days supplies of Lorazepam 1MG from SANDOZ....my new Rx just came and it's from ACTAVIS.....it does not work or relieve any anxiety at all....I might as well take a placebo...it does not work at all....I took 2 pills...nothing and then 1hour later took 2 more....before with the other brand...I would probably be asleep....but,nothing with this new brand.....I do not know what to do about this....... ## I have...

I’ve been taking the generic brand Mylan Lorazapam for four years. Only one that helps me live a normal life stop anxiety/ptsd/ ect. Lorazepam is also the only medication that works for me. My Doctor and I have tried everything. But horrible side effects! Mylan lorazepam has been a miracle! Sadly I just found out that mylan is discontinuing I have a partial script of .5 mylan because 1mg is already gone and the rest is Actavis! I tried one of the Actavis today and it completely zonked me out and feel so weird! Only other one they said they have is Leading. But I saw people post horrible stuff about that as well. A girl I know goes to a different pharmacy and has the exellium brand. I’ve never heard of it... has anyone taken it on the regular and do you find it’s better...

Please show me photos of a round pink pill with the markings M 32. ## A round, pink tablet with M over 32 is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 50mgs of Metoprolol, which is used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. You can view an image and description here 0378-0032. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Is it good for anxiety I would like to know this to substance control

I was originally taking .5 mg of lorazepam (manufactured by Mylan) sublingually twice a day with great results. My latest prescription is manufactured by Sandoz & comes in a smaller size pill. It seems to be less effective than the one made by Mylan. Where can I find a comparison of the actual amounts of lorazepam used by different manufacturers? I understand Activas/Watson also puts one out as well. I read that companies can stay within 20% + or - of the original & still be considered as an acceptable.generic. How is that possible since the amount of active ingredient would vary? ## What you're talking about is the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984. Ref: Hatch-Waxman Letters Basically, in an effort to bring generics to market faster to help underinsured, or non-insured consumers, so...

I have been taking Ativan for 8 years now, prescribed to me by my doctor, after being hospitalized for drug use. I am doing great now, but after a motorcycle accident got prescribed Ativan "lorazepam" again for pain and muscle relief but now I am at 6 mg of Ativan daily and it's not doing the job anymore. It helps me and relieves my pain and anxiety for one hour, then nothing. I need to find a replacement if possible just like Ativan. It's addictive I know, but very helpful in many ways and not heavy or disturbing the next day. I am 43 years old. ## I feel the same way. I noticed a difference in the brand name Ativan made in Germany. It was made by MEDA Manufacturing and I never had a problem until Mylan took over the manufacturing. The pills didn't seem to be mixed ...

Most pharmacies sell watson or actavis lorazepam in my area (LA), but I had serious side effects with no calming effect from watson so I returned to Rite Aid after taking one tablet. I heard that watson was taken over by actavis and they are manufactured at the same factory and same medicine. I used to take qualitest and that worked great but was discontinued. I also tried Mylan which was ok but they are discontinuing as they said they don't have inventory and don't know when the last batch is released. Leading pharma does not work for me, causing serious side effects. I visited or called about 30 pharmacies in my area but they only deal with leading pharma, watson and actavis. So I have no option but to try actavis, but if it's the same as watson, I think I can't take i...
