Is this immediate release or extended / sustained release? I have migraines and this was prescribed as "3 tablets by mouth at bedtime." But if it is immediate release do I really want to be taking all 360 mg at once? Shouldn't I take 1 pill 3 x per day instead? ## Have you asked your doctor, or pharmacist about this? The tablet you asked about is 120mg regular release tablet, which means it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to start working. That is a little higher than the normal preventative migraine dose, which is usually 240mgs at bedtime. ## I too had migraines. I started on Calan SR 120mg (there were no generics ) about 16 years ago. After a year the migraines came back so my doctor increased the dosage to 240 mg. Round, Lt Green, large letter M on one side, L 26 on other side. New prescription, does not seem to work! ## Pill Image It is Lisinopril 40mgs. However, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand, in their Bioequivelence, by as much as plus or minus 20%, so that gives them a leeway of 40% to screw them up. Poor quality control at a manufacturing facility means poorly made pills and the consumer has to suffer. ## white round pill letter M on one side and L24 on the other mfg mylan ## Mylan 20 mg yellow with Markings " M " on one side and " L 25 " on the other do not work for my wife. It has gotten to the point that so many people take adds now days that I am used to calling ahead of time to make sure the pharmacy I am going to actually has the strength & quantity that I need in stock before taking it up there or driving around and driving around all day some pharmacies actually won't even tell you unless you're already in their system that you had it filled there before but that's just some pharmacies. My insurance only allows generics. To say I have been thru hell is an understatement when these drug manufacturers tweak the formula. Real Valium worked. Generic Watson turned Mayne worked. They have someone else making it. Gives me anxiety. Suppose to take it away. Reported it. They didn't care. I also have multiple sclerosis. Anyway, after 6 weeks of hell last October I started Mylan 5mg. It wasn't like the Watson, however, it wasn't horrible. My whole being changed. Then I got long covid. It was bad. I just refilled my Mylan diazepam and noticed it looked different. Low and behold it gave me anxiety and panic attacks once again. I don't know what these drug companies are doing. Perhaps they are trying to thin the herd. Teva does the same. My life has become unmanageab...
