Is taking 1 cyclobenzaprine expired 12\13 harmful ## Hello, Aidas! How are you? No, this medication does not turn toxic, once expired, but it does lose effectiveness, so it will not work as well as it did when new. If you still need a muscle relaxant, it would be best to dispose of the expired pills and obtain a new prescription. It's most commonly used to treat muscle spasms, sprains and strains. This medication may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

You will barely notice anything from this substitute!!!! ## Mobic is not a muscle relaxant, it contains the active ingredient Meloxicam, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Is there anything I can help with?

I am looking over someone right now who said that they took 3 blue pills and 5 tan pills. I think the blue pill was a lower dose Valium and the brown pill was another type of muscle relaxant. With that being said, I realize there is a possible chance of overdose. How long would it be before I can safely say that this person is fine? 8 hours? ## Unfortunately, there is no definitive time frame that can be given, especially without knowing the specific medications involved. Signs of overdose may include nausea, sedation, somnolence, loss of consciousness, vomiting, and seizures. If you are concerned for their safety, then you should contact emergency services. How are they doing? Has there been any change?

I took two 750mg Methocarbomal pills and ONE 10mg Cyclobenzaprine HCl pill. I am a 180lbs female at 5'7". I'm worried that it may be too much, but the methocarbomal by itself wasn't easing my pain. Will I be okay to sleep or should I seek medical help? ## How are you doing? Are you okay? First of all, muscle relaxants are not the same as analgesics, so you can't expect them to ease your pain as an actual pain medication would. These can ease pain caused by muscle pain and spasms, but that's the most they do. You can learn more Methocarbamol details here and you can learn more Cyclobenzaprine details here. And it is never wise to double up on any medication and to add another in the same category, that's a very dangerous thing to do. These can cause depression...

I on Soma Muscle spam pills and still get muscle spams pretty regularly! This suppose to happen or I thought I not get them almost anymore or few far between? Thank you Sherri ## HI, Sherri! Soma is a muscle relaxant, so it should prevent the worst of them, but if it isn't doing so, then you may need to try a different dosage, or a different medication. Learn more Soma details here. Not every medication works for everyone that tries it, that's why there are usually several options available in any given treatment category. Have you consulted your doctor, yet? How long have you been taking it? What is the dosage? ## One of the reasons Doctors do not like prescribing Soma is it masks the pain but does not treat it. I'm sure it can be explained better, but Soma is a worthless m...
