thiocolchicoside prescribing information
can it be given to a patient with polycystic kidney disease with mild renal insufficiency i.e.Sr Creatinine of 1.5? ## Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant with analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. It shouldn't be given to anyone with severe renal insufficiency, however, when someone just has a mild impairment, they can use it, but should be closely monitored by their doctors. The lowered kidney function usually causes increased plasma concentrations of most medications, so their bodies absorb more than the usual amounts and it takes longer for them to process it out. Therefore, their dosage has to be carefully adjusted, as well. Are there any comments or questions? ## I JUST WANT TO READ THE DAILY MESSAGE SENT TO MY MAIL TO KEEP ME UPDATED WITH THE DRUGS INFORMATION ...

Clyclobenzaprine
i have dice, problems an siatic,,i think thay are good to sleep ,,but on a high dose,,7.5. ## Hi mando, Cyclobenzaprine is a pretty potent muscle relaxant and works by blocking pain sensations, so I can certainly see how it helps you get a good nights rest. Are you currently taking anything else with it? If you're into natural alternatives I'd recommend trying out lavender essential oil and mixing it with a lotion to rub onto your spine/back prior to sleeping. It may help promote healing in any areas that have inflammation related to disc problems. Lavender is also very calming and acts as a muscle relaxant too. Let me know if you'd like any more information on this! ...

allergy question
allergic to diclofenac can i take chlorzoxazone ## Hi rich, From what I could gather, Chlorzoxazone is in a class of medications called skeletal muscle relaxants. Diclofenac on the other hand, is listed as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). So if you are allergic to one, there shouldn't be any problems using the other, since they are not the same type of medication. I would however recommend discussing this with your Dr first, just to be on the safe side; as some people may be allergic to more than one type of substance. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Chlorzoxazone Details Is this your first time taking either of those medications? ...
