Muscle Relaxant Methocarbomal and Cyclobenzaprine Overdose?

I took two 750mg Methocarbomal pills and ONE 10mg Cyclobenzaprine HCl pill. I am a 180lbs female at 5'7". I'm worried that it may be too much, but the methocarbomal by itself wasn't easing my pain. Will I be okay to sleep or should I seek medical help? ## How are you doing? Are you okay? First of all, muscle relaxants are not the same as analgesics, so you can't expect them to ease your pain as an actual pain medication would. These can ease pain caused by muscle pain and spasms, but that's the most they do. You can learn more Methocarbamol details here and you can learn more Cyclobenzaprine details here. And it is never wise to double up on any medication and to add another in the same category, that's a very dangerous thing to do. These can cause depression......

possible valium and other muscle relaxant overdose.

I am looking over someone right now who said that they took 3 blue pills and 5 tan pills. I think the blue pill was a lower dose Valium and the brown pill was another type of muscle relaxant. With that being said, I realize there is a possible chance of overdose. How long would it be before I can safely say that this person is fine? 8 hours? ## Unfortunately, there is no definitive time frame that can be given, especially without knowing the specific medications involved. Signs of overdose may include nausea, sedation, somnolence, loss of consciousness, vomiting, and seizures. If you are concerned for their safety, then you should contact emergency services. How are they doing? Has there been any change?...

relax muscle and sleep

would flamar mx relax the muscle and help me sleep ## Hello, Chula! How are you? Flamar MX is listed by the FDA as containing Acetaminophen and Chlorzoxazone, which is classified as a muscle relaxant. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. So yes, it can help with such symptoms, if your doctor has prescribed it. Is there anything else I can help with?...

Muscle Relaxers comparable to Soma?

My insurance company stopped filling my prescription of Soma because it is not in their health care plan formula. What are the top five that work as well as Soma (Carisoprodol)? ## Then Stan you reach in your pocket and pull out the $4 it costs for Soma. I pay $2. The insurance company doesn't dictate what medicines you can take, only which ones they might not pay for? ## Unfortunately, there is really no top options list that anyone can give you, there are no others that are as strong as Soma, at this time, and which other one might help can vary from person to person. If you can't afford to pay for it out of pocket, as Eddy suggested, you might want to consult your doctor about which one they think would be best for you to try. Personally, I had great results with Skelaxin, wh......

muscle relaxer that's most like soma

I have been on soma for about eight years. It really is the only muscle relaxer to really help. But recently most all doctors here in Georgia have stopped prescribing them. Do you know why this would be and are there any other muscle relaxers that may be similar to soma? ## The laws were changed a few years ago and Soma was made a controlled substance. You will find better medicine in the Muscle Relaxer family although it will not feel like Soma does ## There is really none comparable, it was the strongest one available. I've done well with both Flexeril and Skelaxin, but they may not work as well for you. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I have degenerative spine disea......

muscle relaxers

## looking to identify a muscle relaxer with an m on oneside and on the otherside is 751 on a beige or yellow pill ## Mylan Pharmaceuticals list the tablet with the M 751 marking as containing 10mgs of Cyclobenzaprine. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, sedation, and dry mouth. Are there any other questions? ## Cyclobenzaprine is Flexeril, Brand name. It's very old medication and I took it for years because there weren't many choices in the 80's or 90's. Then there was Robaxin. I'm now on Baclofen, 3 20 mg. a day. It helps a little. But honestly theres nothing in my opinion that works like Soma. What's happened is people have abused that Drug too!! So the FDA is coming down on insurance co.to quit paying for ......

muscle relaxer safe

can you take muscle relaxer with hydrocodone and ibuprofen? ## Only as presscribed by your dr. ## @dawn, It would probably depend on which specific drug you're referring to. But based on my own research, there are drug interactions between the prescription muscle relaxer known as Tizanidine and Hydrocodone. Apparently if you take them together it can potentiate certain side effects like dizziness, drowsiness, lightheadedness, and impaired cognitive abilities. However, with proper dosing and administration your doctor may be able to help you decrease these risks. I hope this helps answer your question! ## Hydrocodone and an actual muscle relaxer will potentiate each other. But, as Davis said with proper dosing instructions, the effects should be minimized....

Muscle relaxer pill? A 266 imprint

A round white pill with A 266 on one side, what is it? ## I believe this is a generic Soma. They are different than the ones that I now get from the pharmacy but I was told they were Soma and saw somewhere else on the internet that they were. If anyone else knows for sure, please let me know because I'm not taking it until I am 100% positive that is what it is! THANKS!! ## I saw your post on the Soma muscle relaxant on the Prescription Drug Info site. Your were not sure about the accuracy of the generic substitute A266. This is a valid generic substitute. In my experience, most generic substitutes of any kind of medication are not as effective in strength or duration. However if procured from a reputable pharmacy, the safety issue is moot. It is much better to purchase the original ......

Muscle relaxers for disk problems, a knee replacement, as well as arthritis

I have degenerate disk problems, a knee replacement, as well as arthritis, and I can't get any muscle relaxer that actually works. Why? ## Well when you bones have structure issues the muscles try to hold the cartilage & ligaments that's left in place .... when a muscle reader relaxes the muscles it may relax the muscles but it removes the support of the cartilage & ligaments & transfers the stress points to those connective tissues & being in same proximity it just appears that the relaxers are not working .....imo ## What are you expecting them to do? They are not pain relievers, and will only work to help relax muscle tissue, none of the conditions you've mentioned are muscle based, so a muscle relaxant won't help much with any of them. Ref: Muscle Rel......
