gelmicin cream for eczema

I just got a tube of Gelmincin. My grandson had a severe case of eczema, red itchy on back of leg arms and back ...just want to know if anyone had used it for their eczema and get some feedback on the usage. ## Hello, Faith13! How are you and your grandson? I'd suggest not using it on him, without doctor's approval. Using the wrong thing may actually make it worse. Gelmicin contains a topical steroid, an antibiotic and antifungal medication. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including skin irritation, redness, dryness and itching. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you for your reply. We are currently using Aquaphor and Tropical oil Fluocinolone Acetonide prescribed by his dermatologist but we haven't seen a change. Still breaking out, very irr......

Gelmicin cream used for acne

I've been breaking out lately and have had many big nasty red pimples, so I was wondering if I used this would it clear it up??? ## Hello, Girly! How are you? You shouldn't use a prescription product, if it wasn't prescribed for you and, since this one is not formulated to treat acne, it could actually contain something that might make it worse. Have you consulted your doctor? Are you on any other medications? Has anything changed in your diet or skin care routine recently? ## Can I use Gelmicin to get rid of stretch marks? ## Can Gelmicin be used to help fade deep acne scars? ## Yes, it’s better to use unscented lotions....

I just want to let anyone with lichen sclerosis (in vag area) that gelmicin works for controlling itching and small boils that sometime we get under our belly. I already made numerous trips to my dr. and nobody seems to have hear about lichen sclerosis of the vag area. Tried EVERYTHING else and nothing worked until I tried Gelmicin. Dr's said they never heard of Gelmicin! I can sometimes get it in Mexico or thru Amazon. WORTH IT!!! ## I have had lichen for ten years. Gelmicin ,is helping a lot. I urge you to try it. It is better than clobetsol ## They may not have heard of it, because Lichen Sclerosis is a very rare condition that is not seen often, though it occurs most commonly in post menopausal women. gelmicin cream for ringworm

Can Gelmicin be used for ringworm and if so is it effective? ## Hello, Robert! How are you? It does contain the antifungal Clotrimazole, so it may help, but you should only use it if a doctor has advised you to do so, because it also contains an antibiotic and a steroid, the latter of which may actually worsen some skin conditions. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including skin redness, irritation and dryness. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Appreciate your response my question. Gelatin portion of the Mutual 105 Doxycycline capsule

Hello. I have a question about the source of gelatin that is in this particular capsule (NDC 53489-0119). I know that most capsules are from animal-based gelatin, but I want to know if the gelatin in this one is plant or animal-based. If it is animal-based, what is the animal source of the gelatin in this specific capsule? ## From what I'm seeing the gelatin is being listed on DailyMed as "unspecified" (UNII: 2G86QN327L). That means it can be pretty much any type, such as Marine, Bovine, etc. Doxycycline 100 mg by Sun Pharmaceuticals (formerly Mutual) NDC: 53489-0119 Inactive Ingredients: - Anhydrous Lactose - Croscarmellose Sodium - D&c Red No. 28 - Fd&c Blue No. 1 - Gelatin - Magnesium Stearate - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Titanium Dioxide Reference: ## The re......

Gelmicin For Nail Fungus! Help To heal?

Will Gelmicin help to eliminate toenail fungus? I bought it in Mexico and want to try it on my toe nails to kill the fungus. Any ideas? ## It's worth a try, I used it a couple of times but wasn't consisting on it, I used to use fungi pen and and would make my nails "look clear" I used it for 5 months every day but in the end it didn't work. So $10 a tube for gelmicin its worth giving it a shot, just maybe use up one tube apply twice a day since it rubs off if you wear socks and see if there's any results, I'll be doing that. ## Have you guys ever looked into trying Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca) as a natural remedy for nail fungus? My research suggests that it's as effective as topical Clotrimazole in the treatment of nail fungus. Although I personally haven......

gelmicin cream on dog

Can it be used on dogs hot spots? ## Will it hurt a dog if ingested ## Hi Denise, Personally I think it would be a good idea to contact a veterinarian before treating any animal with any medication - Regardless of whether it's a cream or pill for ingestion. The way their system reacts/responds to many types of drugs can be vastly different from what we perceive as normal, so it's better to be overly safe than take even a slight risk with our pets. Something else worth noting is that if the cream isn't used properly, one of its active ingredients (Betamethasone - a steroid) may make some skin conditions worse off. I wish only the best for you and your pet! ## Our vet usually prescribes Otomax for any hot spots/infections, which has the same ingredients as Gelmicin. So it SHOU......
