I have horrible daily pain due to my L5S1 disc is almost completely collapsed and now my L4/5 is bulging and torn. Plus last MRI showed changes in my bone due to long term degenerative disc disease. Anyways I've seen my pain dr for almost 10 yrs. I've also seen two surgeons after doing 33 procedures who told me I need to do a double fusion yet I know a lot who haven't had a good result plus I'm a hair dresser so I have to be able to stand all day. I've really liked my dr but because of all the dr getting in trouble writing meds my pa is to scared to write what works best for me he said the dr over him said no one can be on it from now on. He's tried others but they don't help my pain half as good. Plus I don't want to just call asking if they will write t...

I have been having chronic back pain for 4 years now. It started after my son was born. After seeing many doctors and specialists and having MRI's and CT scans (neither of which revealed any obvious issues) I was finally diagnosed with having Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction which are problems with my SI Joints in my hips - my doctor said it had something to do with my pregnancy. I have had several inj's. in my back and a few procedures where the nerves are burned - none of this has helped. For 4 years now I have been on many different types of pain medications and even tried medications that treat Fibromyalgia. Currently I have a prescription for 15mg of Oxycodone that I take 2 pills every 4 hours and a prescription for 30mg of MS Contin that I take every 8 hours. It seems like my ...

I live in Garden City, Michigan. I've been getting 30 milligram oxycodone 90 pills and I need a new doctor. Can anyone recommended a doctor near me? Every doctor I've called has a few months waiting list and wants all my diagnostic results and files from other doctors I've seen. I can get all of my results and procedures I have had, like my inj's. and MRI's but I failed a drug panel at my current doctor and this is why I need to find a new one. I didn't see him for 2 months so I didn't have my medication but it doesn't matter. He still won't give me my oxycodone anymore. Can anyone recommended a doctor near me that isn't so hard to get into? I have Medicare and Medicaid. ## I'm sorry I can't really help with your question...But I think you...

Read some of these messages and you'll see they are more about getting some particular drug rather than seeking pain relief. If you go to a pain management doctor thinking you know exactly what drug and quantity you want then you sound like a drug seeker. When was the last time you had an MRI? Is it possible that arthritis is now complicating your condition? The answer for you will not always be more drugs and higher doses. The doctor is the Pro. Go in ready to explain where you are and then LISTEN. There are new meds and procedures and some of the options may be difficult. Maybe it's time to try physical therapy again. Do you really want to spend the rest of your life taking increasingly higher levels of drugs until your organs start shutting down? How about life on dialysis. Be t

Please Help at Ground Zero..I live near Baton Rouge Louisiana. I am in need of Pain Management that will allow me to private pay. I receive Medicaid/united health. This pain is going to be the death of me. I have a daughter who's 12 that is now dealing with Mommy being in Pain. Its go time! Thanks so much. ## Louisiana Medicaid will not pay for a pain management Dr. ## Try the Feldman Institute in Baton Rouge. You have to have injections and procedures as well if you want medications, but he also has his own MRI machine on the property. He's a brilliant doctor, and he accepts Medicaid and Medicare. ## Tiffanie, having Medicaid when you also have Medicare is not the same as having Medicaid only. ## I am looking for a pain management doctor who takes cash...I have been in pain 25 ...
