I have been prescribed above tablets by my GP as I have suspect angina getting very breathless and tired but no pain. I had an angeogram done about 4 years ago and put on heart tablets then. My problem is that I have low blood pressure and need B12 injections every 3 months for Pernicous anaema plus lots of other health problems. I am nervous abuot taking this tablet. What do you think? ## In this case, I would suggest having a discussion about it, with your doctor. Isosorbide had been known to cause hypotension in roughly 4 to 5% of the people that take it and, if yours is already low, it might create the risk of it dropping too low to be safe. They may have some ideas on how to counteract the possibility, such as increasing your fluid intake. How low is your blood pressure? Has it bee...

Hi all My name is arohi. This massgae is about my mom who is 56 years of age. Please suggest what to do? Do I have to discontinue the medicine or consult another Doctor? ## Hello, Arohi! How is your mom doing? Mr doctor wrote prescription for Librax and did not specify brand name only. My local pharmacy dispensed Chlordiazepoxide-Clidinium at a copay of $4.86 for 40 pills.. However, my Mail Order provider sent me Librax at a cost of $162.39 for 100 pills. When I questioned the mail order company, they advised Chlordiazepoxide-Clidinium had not been approved for automatic substitution for Librax and they could not give me the generic. They did advise that if the prescription had been for Chlordiazepoxide-Clidinium they would have dispensed that drug. Are they giving me the facts or run around? Thanks. ## Unless they are in a different country and not following the laws of the U.S. then they are incorrect.
