Motion Sickness Meds

Was given this to replace OTC pain meds. too 2 at 2pm, and a further 2 at bedtime Alarm got me up at 4 to go to work, on getting out of bed got cold sweats, had a shower to pull myself together. Drove 5 miles stopped at gas station to vomit due to motion sickness I think. got to office lay on the floor of my office and slept for 2 hours. Was woken by a co worker, on getting up off the floor again vomited. Sipped week tea and by 1230 was "ok" to drive home, there I slept for 4 hours and was spacy until midnight. took till mid morning the following day for me to feel human again. Doctor forgot to tell me to take 1 to see how they work for me. Stopped taking them, surviving on no pain medication because the pain is better than the Tramadol solution in my opinion ## Hello, Mudman2! ...

found this pill in my house on the floor checked all my meds as well as other family members and did not find a match for it, it is peach color round and has letters T C L over 353 on one side and a x or cross on the other side, the pill is round in shape but not flat it has a bow shape. need to find out what this is so I can find out where it came from, thank you for any help you can offer. ## It is a motion sickness pill.. What are the indications, contraindications, dosage and side effects of this medication? ## Hyospasmol is listed as containing the active ingredient Scopolamine, it is used to treat conditions such as motion sickness, nausea, IBS and GI cramping. Common side effects may include: dry mouth, dry throat, dry nasal passages and constipation. Have this in with several others- I think it is acetaminophen- white tablet, round, labeled 44-188 ## Hi Betty, To my knowledge this is more than likely an over the counter drug, seeing that many OTC meds in the US start with the numbers "44" followed by another set of digits. Unfortunately I haven't located an exact match, however the clues I'm finding here do lead me to believe that it falls in the realm of OTC cough, cold, pain or sleep meds, or motion sickness tablets. To find out whether this proves to be the case, I would encourage you to take the pill into your local pharmacy for more specific details as to what it might be. Acetaminophen is still a possibility in my book, but so is Dimenhydrinate and Diphenhydramine, & perhaps other meds as well. Please post ...

What over the counter med can I take in place of Hydroxyzine hcl 25mg? ## Hydroxyzine is used to relieve the itching caused by allergies and to control the nausea and vomiting caused by various conditions, including motion sickness. It is also used for anxiety and to treat the symptoms of alcohol withdrawal. Hello, I have been on Contrave for 7 days with a lot of nausea. While I lost 5 lbs by day 6, I have thrown up 4 out of 7 days! I've recreated the meals I ate on days I kept food down but that wasn't a guarantee I would not get sick. I got vertigo two weeks before I started Contrave so I had been using a motion sickness prescription patch. Others mentioned dramamine, bonine and ginger - still no guarantee on keeping the nausea in check. I will say when I put a new patch on at night, the next day usually prevented vomiting. But...it is not good to stay on those motion sickness meds so I stopped today. I will try an otc oil. I am hoping the severity of the nausea and vomiting was due to vertigo but as only day one is bad for me with vertigo, I'm not sure if I'm being overly...
