I was px morphine 30 mg sulfa but no pharmacy carries it in los angeles ca does any one or does someone now a pharmacy that carries it ## Hello, Joseph! How are you? I'm sorry that you're having a problem finding your medication. How have you been checking for it? If you're just calling the pharmacies, you won't get an accurate answer, because they have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a potential thief or a legitimate customer with a need. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Does anyone have any ideas? ## Take the prescription to a hospital , and usually they can make sure that your doctor is legit and can also help in getti...

Just prescribed for on Morphine Sulfate SA. Would like to know to what effect this will be different from 4-10 mg hydrocodone/500 APAP, daily ? ## They are both narcotics, so the side effects are going to be very similar, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. However, the SA stands for sustained action, so the Morphine is a time released product that is meant to help give you better pain control. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is this really good for my back? What else is it good for? What is the average price for a prescription to be filled? ## I can't really tell you if this will help you or not. Pain medications can affect everyone differently, whereas some people get great results from taking it, but there are others that it just doesn't work for. Unfortunately, the only way to find out is to actually try it. To answer your other question, Morphine is a narcotic pain reliever used to treat moderate to severe pain. I wouldn't suggest trying to use it for any other purpose outside of that. Did your doctor just give you a prescription for it without saying a word? ## I have stage 4 cancer I've been taking Vicodin 500 mg 6 times a day now I switch to 15 mg of morphine and I feel horrible don...

How different is Morphine Sulfate 30mg E 653 from a 30mg perocet, and is it dangerous to take it like its a percocet or vicodin, is it ok to take in severe cases of plantars fasciitis ## There is no 30mg Percocet, so I assume you're talking about a regular release Oxycodone tablet, whereas Percocet would contain Acetaminophen and Oxycodone and is only available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Oxycodone. As to a comparison, Oxycodone is actually one and half times stronger than Morphine, so it would take 45mgs of Morphine to equal 30mgs of the Oxcycodone, so you may not get as much pain relief, as you would from the Oxycodone. It is a narcotic, so yes, it can be dangerous to take, just like all of them are and it may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, constipation and dia...

54252 ## In one place you have the number as 54262, and in another it says 54252. If your pill is a pale yellow, round pill about the size of an aspirint, (maybe a little bigger) and the number is 54262 then yes, you do have 30mg morphine sulfate. It is used for moderate to severe pain. It is a schedule 2, controlled substance, that can be very addictive. Side effects include marked drowsiness, dizziness, constipation, euphoria, headache, among other side effects. I could not find a pill labeled 54252 so I am hoping the real number is 54262.

I have taken off-green color *generic morphine 30mg e.R for a number of years with good results / 4 chronic pain. Now pharmacy is giving me morphine tab - 30mg e.R made by a lab called *mallinkrt. Taking it does bother my stomach, and does not last as e.R should. Seems alot of this stuff being substituted at pharmacies. Twice I've been given this made by mallinkrt lab and it doesnt work. Anyone else having this trouble? ## I have problems with MSContin but that is quick release. They decided to put me on 15 mg KADIAN which is lon lasting as in time release all day- hour. I take it 3x'x a day. No problems but its not generic and costs me 50.00 each script. The morphine is supposed to also extend the life of percocet which I take 4 times a day with 3 of them being taken with the k...

Which is stronger, 30mg Oxycodone or 30mg Morphine Sulfate? ## I'm sorry that you had trouble posting, but glad you persevered. As to your question, Oxycodone is one and half times stronger than Morphine. So, if you were taking 30mgs of Oxycodone, you'd need 45mgs of Morphine to be an equivalent dose. You can find more Oxycodone details here and there are more Morphine details here. These are both narcotics, so they both carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Sorry for the somewhat terse notation but I was frustrated in getting little to zero information in an immediate manner, my impatience was/is unacceptable. Thank you for your professional follow up. ...

I have been on percocet for about six years, now they want to transicion me to morphine sulfate(ms contin) 30mg, so the pain management doctor wants me to tae both until they can remove me from percocet.... to be onest with you I am afraid, can anyone give me more info.....Thanks ## Transitioning from one narcotic medication to another is usually not a problem, as long as your are given an equivalent dosage of the new one. There usually isn't any need to keep taking both to ease the transition, since one can prevent withdrawals from another. The Morphine isn't as strong as the Oxycodone, to you will require a higher dosage, to equal what you were taking, but it is very effective for many people. It can cause the same side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry m...

How are you? Though it isn't common, narcotics can cause that in some people that take them. The energy boost is one reason that some people end up abusing opiates. Have you consulted your doctor? It might be better for you to try a different medication. ## I have but as I'm allergic to almost everything morphine the pnly pain realieve I can take it takes away a lot of the pain just keeps me awake I even top up with oramorph I also take amitriplyn to help sleep but doesn't work ## Yes. How many hours of pain relief should i get from one morphine sulfate 30mg ir? My recent MRI showed more bulging discs in my back. My pain is worse now. I cant sleep from the lower back pain. My doctor cut my script from 80 a month to 60 with no reason why. Now I have no quality of life. I can cry. Now my life will be laying around not able to have a decent pain free day. ## Did you ask your doctor why they lowered the amount prescribed? The FDA warns that Morphine carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Ref: Morphine Information Have you tried any physical therapy to help with your pain? What other treatment options have you been offered? We are all different, so it's difficult to say how ...

I just went to a new pain dr. For 8 years I was on OxyContin 30mg. My insurance wouldn't pay so I was switched to 30 mg ms continue er. This worked fine. All with 5/325 Hydrocodone up to 4 daily for breakthrough. Within the last four months the old Doctor switched to 30mg IRR without telling me why the change. I think just mixed up. Actually it worked basically the same with the breakthrough meds. Now new doc changed to MS Contin er generic with same amount of breakthrough melds. I haven't started yet but am worried it won't work as well. Help ## Since it is a lower dose, it may not manage your pain as well and you may also experience some withdrawal symptoms. As listed by the FDA, withdrawal symptoms may possibly include nausea, dizziness, fever, chills and diarrhea. Is the...

My insurance change thus my pm doc changed. He switched me from 100mg er morphine 3xday with 4 10/325 percocet daily and 2 350mg soma to up to 3 30mg ir morphine 4x daily only for pain. No breakthrough med and no muscle relaxer. Am I going to stiffer major wd?or is this captains with what I was taking? Been on for 5 years to build up to this amount, two failed back surgeries, constant pain and spasms, with some foot surgeries and other pain issues. Any advise will help I'm terrified of the wd my body is dependant plus need to be able to function, move around and take care of "life" as it happens ## How are you doing? That is definitely a lowering of your dosage, so you may experience some withdrawal symptoms, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, heada...

8mg of dilotid or 30mg of morphine sulfate.Which is stronger? Kadian 100mg or Morphine Sulfate 100mg which is stronger? They discharged me because he was not comfortable with the amounts I needed Plse tell me ASAP ## Hello, Scooter! How are you? Kadian is just brand name for Morphine, so those are actually equal. As to the Morphine and Dilaudid, those are almost equivalent, too. It takes 7.5mgs of Dilaudid to equal each 30mgs of Morphine. However, I am not quite sure what it is that you're asking. Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you! This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I have reduced my pain medication over the past few years from around 8-10 immediate release Percocet a day, (which in retrospect seems kinda crazy for my intractable pain), to 3 morphine er 30's a day, with 2 15mg IR's for breakthrough pain. Desperately trying to reduce them had been MY desire, not doctors. That being said, my constant, chronic pain was hard to manage at 3 ER's a day, so my doctor had raised then to 4 a day. That dosage seemed perfect for me, and after a long time, had enabled me to work and try to get my life back on track after years of suffering. I've moved recently, (which means new doctors, so you know the drill), and he had immediately reduced what was finally working, back down to 3 a day. I should mention that just before moving, I had requested th

I am currently taking 60mg of morphine sulfate ER twice a day and 30 mg of oxycodone HCL four times a day. For some reason I came up short one morphine on the last day of my prescription, so I only have one I can take instead of two until I get my new script tomorrow morning. Instead of taking the last morphine this morning, I waited and took it around 4pm tonight. Will I have withdrawl symptoms from missing a dose of Morphine, but continuing to take the oxycodone 30mg? ## If you didn't have any during the interim, where you didn't take it until much later, then no, you should be fine. However, if you do, they'd be mild and may include rebound pain, diarrhea, dizziness and fever, as listed by the FDA. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the ...

How long after taking a 15mg morphine sulfate pill should I wait until I take a 1mg clonazepam? It has been 5hrs since I have taken the morphine. My doctor does prescribe both of them to me. I would just like to be safe about it. ## You should have no problem taking them together. I take 1 mg of Klonopin and 30 mg of oxycodone at the same time. Sam ## It can vary from person to person. It really depends on how your body reacts to each medication. Some people can take them both together, but some may experience too many side effects. small green tablet side 1, 653, side 2 30. ## Is the marking E653/30? If so, this is indeed Morphine Sulfate CR 30mgs, a generic for MS Contin, which is a 12 hour time released narcotic pain reliever. Some of the most common side effects include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What condition are you taking this for? The reason I ask, is I learned the hard way that it should not be used to treat some conditions, as it can actually make some worse, instead of helping to relieve pain. ## I have renal disease, had a kidney transplant about 5yrs ago. Can one take morphine sulfate 30mg er with clonazepam 1mg at bedtime? ## Hello, Catrina! How are you? Taking both can cause more severe sedation, nausea, drowsiness and dizziness than usual, as reported by the FDA, so you should only do so, if your doctor approves. The FDA classified Morphine as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Clonazepam carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with?

I ran out of percocet 10mg for breakthrough pain due to insurance problems. The soonest I can get a refill will be in 2 days. I take Morphine Sulfate ER 30mg every 12 hours. My question is, how much additional morphine could I take over the next 2 days to compensate for not having the percocet for breakthrough pain. I sufer from chronic pain. ## Hello, Bob! How are you? How many Percocet do you take daily? It would best not to change your dose of Morphine, with your doctor's approval. However, without knowing your total dose of Percocet, I can't give you even a basic comparison to help. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipati...
