I have a grey small pill round pms on one side 411 on other side I was told it was morphine 5 mg but it's texture n taste are wrong ## Actually, from what I've been able to find, this tablet is listed as containing Sennosides, which is a laxative, used to treat constipation. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, stomach pain, abdominal cramping and diarrhea. My husband is on 2 - 30 mg morphine daily. He feels terrible and just wants to get off. How? ## From personal experience, I can tell you that even only using it as prescribed can result in severe withdrawal symptoms if you stop cold turkey. Mine lasted for nearly a month. The best way to stop Morphine is to slowly taper it off, that way you minimize the withdrawals. He should really consult his doctor to get the best taper schedule and be under a doctor's supervision while he is stopping it. It is a very potent narcotic. Has he spoken to his doctor about his desire to stop using it, yet?

My doctor changed my 60mg orange oblong morphine to the 60mg round orange ones. I inject my medication and need to know why the round pill is oily after its broke down to liquid form. Since using these new pills I am having trouble pooping what the hell the government done to my morphine? ## The government didn't do anything. Tablets such as this are not intended to be broken down and injected and trying to do so is dangerous. Tablets contain fillers, especially the time released ones and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body. They are normally just expelled in your waste. My Dr prescribes 20mg oxycodone on a monthly basis for my chronic pain. I've been having to take a UA every month when I go to see him. Is this normal practice? I don't abuse the pills. He will only prescribe 75 20 b mgs per month. This is not enough to control my pain but it at least lessens it. Should I find a different dr? I've been a patient there for 5 years. I've been on morphing 15 mg for 9 years at 4 times a day . witch would equal to 60 MG's. I found a pill with a N on one side and nothing on the other. Someone told me this was morphine. ???? ## The closest match I'm finding to your description happens to be Morphine (30mg), however, this pill appears redish in color with the number "30" imprinted on the other side: imageshack.us/photo/my-images/831/img0051t.jpg It could just be the camera lighting of the photo, but others have regarded this pill as being dark purple in color (perhaps quite similar to blue).
