Anyone know a good Dr in Utah who can prescribe opiate meds? My husband has verybad bbulging and herniated discs in his back, arthritis in his spine and fibromyalgia and usually takes 60mg morphine e.r but since moving here we can't find a Dr that will fill his RX they all want him to do physical therapy when it doesn't work... ## Hello, Buddhagrl! I suspect a local hospital is supplying fake morphine. I took a bad reaction to nightly medication. Recieing supposedly the same drug "Sevredol" via my GP on discharge, the effect is completely different. How do I have this investigated, as I am encountering high levels of obstructive/defensive activity, without raising the issue specifically. The relevant authorities seem reluctant to recieve any form of complaint on the NHS.

This is the highest dosage unit of immediate release morphine made anywhere, just the one brand, VERMOR-60 by Verve Healthcare. I take them simply because they are much cheaper than any other morphine sulphate I have ever come across, and I need three 'rescue' doses of an opioid analgesic daily since my Oxycontin 120mg tablets seem to last only 6 hours, and not the twelve claimed on the box... taking morphine 15 mg S A. Have been on hydrocodone 10/325APAP, and oxycodone 10/325APAP. Don't seem to be getting any relief from the morphine. If you have Hydrocodone, with Acetaminophen, however, you do have to be careful not to overdose on it. You shouldn't take more than 1,000mgs of Acetaminophen at a time and no more than 4,000mgs in 24 hours, because amounts over that can be toxic and the toxicity reactions can be fatal. I just started Opana 30mg twice a day and I didn't think it was working either, but 4 days into in, my pain has decreased from an 8 to a 2-3. You have to be patient and allow several days for it to reach a steady level in your system. Be patient...it will work. I have taken less breakthrough meds over the past several days than over the past 10 years. All I need now is 1-2 per day. If you are really looking for pain relief I would highly recommend the opana, and I have tried all but the fentanyl patches. Can you take 100 milligrams of morphine in 2 hours later to take a xanax ## Hello, Tom! How are you? You can, as long as they have been prescribed for you. However, they both tend to increase sedation, so you may experience more dizziness and drowsiness than usual, as reported by the FDA. If you have existing medical conditions that affect your breathing, or heart, taking them together in high doses could be too much for you. People who are not tolerant may also experience overdose. why cant i find this medication ## The pill with the 54 262 marking isn't a 40mg Morphine tablet, it is a 30mg tablet and how are you going about trying to find it? If you are just calling around to the various pharmacies and asking if they have it in stock, then you have to understand that since Morphine is a narcotic/controlled substance, you are likely not getting an honest answer. Due to the very high risk of theft, most pharmacies will simply tell anyone that just calls that they do not stock these types of prescriptions. If you are just a voice on the phone, they have no way of knowing if you a legitimate customer or a potential thief. The only way to really find out if they have it in stock is to actually go into the pharmacy, in person, with your prescription in hand.

Tolerance and psychological dependence can develop rapidly, although physiological dependence may take several months to develop. Whether you have addictive behavior or not, I truly believe that your mind can overcome any addiction if you stay on top of how you feel and how it's affecting you while you're taking it on such a consistent basis. One way to do this is to keep a log or journal every week reporting any undesirable side effects, feelings, emotions (if you become more emotional) and what-have-you. I am on 15 mg morphine extended release tablets. Taken whole 1 every day. I want off off them. Desperate. Will not go on Suboxone. Will take Methadone am very serious and want off of these opiates.
