Can I overdose on 1 30mg ER morphine tablet? i weigh 173 lbs if that atters. i have nver taken anything stronger then a hydro 10 and kinda scared to take this medicine. ## I'm not personally aware of the difference in potency from Hydrocodone to Morphine, but I wouldn't suggest taking anything that puts a scare in you like that. If it's too strong it's too strong and your best bet would be to start off with a smaller dose (cut in half perhaps to assess your tolerance). To answer your question though, I don't believe you can overdose on 1 tablet, but you may or may not experience some very undesirable side effects if your body is not used to it. Would like to know to what effect this will be different from 4-10 mg hydrocodone/500 APAP, daily ? ## They are both narcotics, so the side effects are going to be very similar, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. I was on 5 30mg of oxycodone ir after doing some reading after you have more than 120mg in your system the rest is not helping you it's just loading your system up and your asking for long term problems my dr.
