I have been on and off 5-325 and 10-325 oxycodon for about 6 months now I was wondering how a 30mg morphine tablet would affect me I'm 110 pounds if that helps any. I was taking 30mg oxycodone and the doctor switched to 15 mg Morphine ER and 15mg oxycodone and the pain is the worst it's been in the last 8 months. Am i going crazy or is it possible that the morphine does nothing for me. Can I overdose on 1 30mg ER morphine tablet? i weigh 173 lbs if that atters. i have nver taken anything stronger then a hydro 10 and kinda scared to take this medicine. ## I'm not personally aware of the difference in potency from Hydrocodone to Morphine, but I wouldn't suggest taking anything that puts a scare in you like that. If it's too strong it's too strong and your best bet would be to start off with a smaller dose (cut in half perhaps to assess your tolerance). To answer your question though, I don't believe you can overdose on 1 tablet, but you may or may not experience some very undesirable side effects if your body is not used to it. This is a very, very powerfull narcotic pain med. If you do not have a tolerance to this amount of morphine, you can easily OD and well to be blunt DIE. ## does this pill have an M inside of a box on one side of it and a #30 on the other side of the pill? I was on 5 30mg of oxycodone ir after doing some reading after you have more than 120mg in your system the rest is not helping you it's just loading your system up and your asking for long term problems my dr.
