Morphine 100 Mg Extended Release

I need to know if there is a 30 MG instant release morphine? Also does 100 mg morphine only come in extended release? ## Hello, Rhonda! How are you? My question concerns drug conversion. The Fentanyl works well, most of time, for my chronic pain, but my insurance now says I can only get it again in March of 2015. This is still Oct., 2014, so I will be out of patches at end of October. I don't understand this, because just stopping the patches would/will cause terrible withdrawal, because if you are only couple days late, withdrawal starts. This happened also recently as my dr. changed (at my request to try something else)100 mcg. patch to only 15 mg. of morphine ER every 12 hours, because of patches costing almost $400 for one month, which I cannot afford, due to "doughnut hole". The change made be very sick within two days, so I had to go back to patches. I didn't think the 15 mg. extended release morphine was enoug...

Been taking these for 4yrs, Stopped making them. Doc gives me MS 15mg ER and tells me their the same been really sick for a week. on oramorph 10mg 4 times a day and tramadol 100mg 4 times a day still in pain are they cancelling each other out ## No, I was othe same recently and they will be augmenting each other not cancelli out. If you are still in pain, speak to your doctor about upping your morphine (you've already maxed the tramadol there) I'm on 30mg plus 100mg tramadol which is controlling my pain much better. ## How long have you been taking them? As George said, they shouldn't be canceling each other out, but it may be time for a dosage adjustment. There's also the possibility that one, or both just aren't the right medications to help you and you may need to try different ones.
