My husband was but on Ic meclizine 25 mg tablet for severve depression with other medications. When I looked this medicstion up it was stated that it was used for boat and air travel etc. I am confused how this would help depression with severe anxiety attacks. Could you help me. ## What other medications did they put him on? Meclizine is an antihistamine and while it won't help with depression, it does have some calming and sedative like effects that could help with the anxiety issues. Therefore, it may have been added to assist with that, while something else is supposed to treat the depression.

I was given this medication(ic meclizine 25mg) to stop being dizzy, but I see that one of the side effects could be dizziness. How can this be? ## It's just one of those fun incongruities of medications, what can relieve a symptom may also often cause the same symptom in some people. Most medications that people take for headaches are the same way, such as Acetaminophen and Advil, if you read the possible side effect details, one of them is headache! What you have to remember is that, while it is possible to experience side effects, the number of people that do experience them is actually very low. Are there any other questions or comments?
